I filed a complaint against National Law Office group today.  (855)-201-5514/(951)-239-4251 located in Temecula, Ca. Address is 1 Ridge Gate Drive, Ste 1010. * pretty sure that address is crap. I did call the business building manager for that address to also file a complaint. Laura Green contacted my work as an independent investigator for this place. She called my supervisor and HR. It is total crap.  I have monthly monitoring due to fraud a few years back. I don't have outstanding debt.  When I called back, Mary Campbell and Jennifer Scott but were horrible. I informed them of the complaint filed and I will be mailing a certified letter to stop contacting me. Don't verify anything with these soulless harpies. File directly with the FTC - federal trade commission. This b***s*** gets old.

Received a voicemail message today from Deborah White from the National Law Group in regards to an investigation on one of our employees (I'm a small business manager and they called my office). Our company doesn't owe any debts. The caller ID number was 310-230-5135 but stated to call (855) 201-5594

This company is obviously scammers, refusing to provide any information beyond that they are called "Creditors" (laughable) and are full of threats with no proof.  Call the FTC and report them and you'll quickly see they are not worth speaking to much less paying.

This bill collector calls from 818-206-4580 but uses a call back # as 855-201-5514 says they where calling as they are doing an investigation and background on (Name) and my name and phone # they dialed came up as someone they know and reside with. LOL!!!!!

He tried to sound official (blah-blah-blah) as further stating he was calling from national law group. Yeaaaa, I believe that. "If we do not hear from (NAME) we will have to proceed with serving legal documents."  What's laughable is: A REAL law firm NEVERRRR calls to warn you about serving you. LOL!!-LOL!!

I don't know the person they called about and he tried to ask more questions; CLEARLY an attempt to see if he had a good contact number (They DO NOT) LOL!!!

I finally told this bill collector that I have no idea who the person is and he further tried to ask "So, you're trying to say you do not know (NAME)?!!  I was trying to not laugh so hard. I ended the call telling I have no idea who they are trying to reach

WARNING:
One thing about Bill Collectors is: They try to come off hard and with quick rapid fire questions sounding like they are from an actual law firm using words and phrases like "We'll have to serve Legal Documents at their place of work. Legal Investigation,  Further Action Against Them / You, etc..  If you are in fact the person owing a debt Do NOT be intimidated at all.

Simply ask for their Business Name and Address to send said payment (They will more than likely demand you send payment with a Credit Card over the phone.  Remember they want money NOW.  If they refuse to give you an address THAT'S A CLUE they are full of &^%$.  Tell them you'll send a Money Order over night. INSTEAD send a letter Certified or Fedex/UPS stating they are to CEASE & DESIST communicating with you over the phone and they are notified to CEASE and DESIST contacting you on your job and ONLY communication via United Stated Postal Service will be allowable to communicate about said debt and/or reference #

Let them know you are exercising your rights under the Federal Debt Collectors Practices Act (FDCPA) and that failure to abide by said Cease & Desist Order will be met with swift legal action against and and ALL representatives of their firm.  Simply telling them "You have no right to call my job" will not work. You need to take action against the collection agency and be proactive and aggressive.

As a former bill collector I will tell you collection agencies are desperate to get money paid to them ASAP and they will use all sorts of words to make you scared.  The best tactic is to call the job as they know people do not want their employers to know their personal business.

this unknown caller called my friend on Sept 7 & told her to give me the message to call this 855-201-3471 number  because they have a complaint against me & for me to call to try to settle outside of court.  So I called & the 855 201 3471 number is an All State number. This unknown call also called me again on sept 13 and left a message saying to call 855 239-6292 to settle outside of court. That there will be a summons for court if I dont treat this matter. They will go to my house or my work place if I dont respond promptly. They have called my sister &  2  of her co workers a few months ago too & had complaint and summons  to appear in court. This is so weird, and annoying.

I have gotten 3 messages from this number, one person said his name was Robert Fisher, another was Jody Conner and then there was Tony Baker. Tony stated that he was with Allstate and that he was trying to serve a summons on me and was going to be at my house and then my place of employment. He also stated that they were trying to settle out of court regarding checks to a financial institution. I have never had anything with Allstate and don't have outstanding checks. One person left a very rude voicemail on my phone. And then they say that they have me on the docket for the day. But I too would like for them to stop calling me.

Did anyone ever find out if this is a scam or for real?

The number called me saying I had charges against me and I needed to settle my debit out of court to call the 855 number. They didn't say were I work but used an old address. I am just a little worried. I have not do e anything wrong and this stresses me out. It was called a meteiation firm or something and it was an unknown number. Thank u if u can help

This number called my husband at work saying that he needed to settle a debt.  they said that he was saving my husband the embarrassment of being served court papers at work in front of all of his friends.  I think this is a scam....  They would never say who they were!
