This company called me and stated I was going to prison and that they were authorized to file criminal charges on an old debt with a loan company. They were terrifying and scary, they said they had a warrant for my arrest and the sheriff would go to my house and arrest me that evening, so I relented as I was scared. They were supposed to send me a contract and they never did. I kept calling and calling and the number never rings it disconnects me. I tried everyday to find contact with these people unsuccessfully. I then went online and punched in the name Lineage Group in NY and it came up they are a mortgage company and not collections, I then called the number and it kept automatically disconnecting me. I called my bank to cut all transactions with them. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau as FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!
