Yes! Who was this person and what did they tell u. Something about my email doing something and needing to fix it? The most confusing part was I don't use Microsoft and they didn't seem to be asking me for money or anything that made sense ( I couldn't really understand her even). So it is a scam and I'm not "causing problems with [my] area?  This whole thing was confusing and I eventually told them to send me something in print and hung up, but I want to know what they said to others and what it was about for when they call back.

I get the impression that people who get offended by people having a problem with others simply trying to get infomation about who these numbers really are and if they are a scam probably work themselves in some sort of cold call centre. I don't think the people complaining about these sites and calls really are comaining about the individuals who hav to do the actual calling cuz we understand the callers themselves are just doing a job cuz they need money to live and probably, for a mirriad of reasons, hav to work there and don't do this particular job because they love it and dreamed of being cold callers. Sure, it's just a way to make a pitch. I've worked as telemarketer, I wasn't even selling anything, I was just calling peoe from a list and asking them to send us money. They didn't even get a tote bag or anything. The worst part was calling lists of graduates from my uni who never ever donated and we called them every year to ask for money and if they didn't answer the phone we simply kept calling them over and over for like a month at least on e a night (sometimes many times a night) up to like 25 times or more until they answered the phone and told us strait out no. Imagine that if they didn't answer the phone the first 7 times they probably are never going to answer it. But we just kept calling them as they got madder and madder until they were so pissed and answered the phone and freaked out at us and we still were supposed to say "this will just take a minute, would you like to donate $1000 dollars to the university of Michigan" when they would say "f*** no" we were supposed to say "I completely understand, we realise that not everyone is in a position to give so generously. Would you be more comfortable with something smaller amount like $500" as if that wasn't supper insulting so you can imagine how they responded to that. So I understand.
The issue that these peoe are addressing is "is this a legitimate site and what these peoe are telling me is this true? A scam?"  Plus a lot of people are older and getting these calls from nowhere and are easily taken in. They don't necissary realise that when someone calls and says "you won an iPad, we just need you to give us your credit card so we can just take out what taxes you owe on it and confirm you are indeed who you say you are" they can make it sound real and it is difficult to tell who is a scam and who is genuine.
The call I got today I had to look up the number who the hell this was. I couldn't even understand what company they are coming from, even though I asked three times, cuz of her accent, and I'm not an elitest racist American, I live in one of the most diverse communities in the country, am surrounded by Indians ( the only people I've talked to today in fact were Indian and my husband is the only American in a lab run by and Indian and staffed overwhelmingly by Indians. But still between being on a cell phone, her calling from a loud call centre, and her accent I just could not understand what she was talking about. She proceeds to ask me if I am who I am and if my email address is what it is. She then tells me that there is something wrong with my computer, but not what it is and that I need to get it fixed. But she doesn't tell me what is stone or what to do about it, where or who do I bring it to, what it is doing to cause the problem or even what program is causing the problem. Most importantly she didn't tell me what the consequences of saying f*** off and ignoring it or her.

I just wanted to look up who these people are, if they are real or do I hav to at all?

I had a Solagex system installed - operational April 26, 2012 & it works great.  We did get the Tablet - it's pretty cheesey - plastic face.  The whole process took 5 months.  We are still waiting for our promised rebate - that has me worried.  Otherwise OK.

Consumers beware of Ray. He is believed to be a former employee of Solagex. He was FIRED for poor performance and is extremely disgruntle. DO NOT listen to this liar. If you pay close attention to what he writes, you will see he has intimate knowledge of customers that have purchased with Solagex. This ex-employee has been slandering Solagex for months. He is also known as Solar Sam.

So we should believe someone like you, who doesn't know the difference between libel and slander? Or we should believe the shill you are obviously paying to clutter this board and attack the people you have pestered?

Can't get a real job huh!

Oh, and I must be a "disgruntle ex-employee" too LOL. Keep on scamming!

Ray is actually a disgruntle ex-employee of SOLGEX. He has gone by other names such as Solar Sam! He has been slandering the company because he was fired for poor performance. That's why he has knowledge of the customers. Do not believe this liar.

I received a letter and it says I can get an Android powered Tablet, nowhere does it mention anything about Microsoft. And actually the letter said restrictions apply. I feel I learned a lot by just calling Solagex.

Catalinagirl: Can you say "Deceptive Marketing?" If you send a mailer out that has "Micro Soft" written all over it yet in small print admit that you have no relationship with them, it is considered Deceptive. It is also illegal. May you and your maketing team should take a class in ethics and then read the buisiness profession codes of California.

Mr. Trotter was the real estate agent who worked with Solagex to help them aquire a building in CA. He not only recieved a commision on that deal, but also was was offered a Solar System at cost. Dont know if it was ever installed though. Im sure his opinion is totally impartial

Hey Bob,
Ms. Gee and her husband actually signed up for a Solagex system but canceled due to scathing negative press on one of the Solagex principles. Doubt she would be less than truthful about what she posts.

So it's a way to get people to listem to their pitch, what is wrong with that? I'm sure you have filled out forms to enter into a sweepstakes and received calls before am I right? At least its good for the environment and not selling insurance or warranty crap I get constantly!

I called and attended the presentation. It was actually very informative and professional. I fail to see where the scam is... They have found a unique way to talk to people about saving money on electricity costs by going to solar energy.

Then why does the return address say "Microsoft" complete with the trademark and style font? The mailer looks completely like something from Microsoft until you open it and read the small print on the back of the coupon inside. Utter scam.

these guys are a scam dude. i just got their cell phone radiation guard offer. their mailer has Microsoft all over it so they're illegally trading on it's trademark. totally un-scrupulous. after pasting 'Microsoft' all over, there's a little disclaimer saying it has nothing do with Solargex, and solargex is in fine print too, also a company called  "Radiguard"... ooooooohhhh.....  these guys are just trying to make a buck. problem is the scruples they have are stolen....smile

yep, "reginald" and "nicole" work for solagex. not their real names obviously. thats how they get around the "no one named nicole words at solagex". So obviously someone on this thread DOES work at solagex b/c they are monitoring the responses. its like the home depot water softener talks for a home depot card, takes freakin forever and then they grille you to buy the system and hang around your house forever.
