I have received half a dozen calls to my cell phone, a number I do not typically provide on any applications, etc. It is a recorded message from Susan James from CMS and Associates, court appointed mediation firm re:  pending civil suit and non-sufficient funds transaction to be investigated. Am told to call an 855#  so they can obtain a final statement in my defense before any charges are filed. Knowing my financials are in excellent standing, I searched the web and did not find anything to confirm truthfulness of this caller.  In fact just the opposite. Call today put me over the edge as I was told I was being given 1x final opportunity that would save me significant dollars and prevent a suit being filed against me... I had to call immediately an 877#.

Have received many phone calls from CMS concerning a lawsuit that was being filed in the County that I reside in and have to hang for their mediator to work out payment arrangements.   They call from the entire spectrum of all area codes in the United States.

CALLED MY BUSINESS FROMM THIS NUMBER WITH A "MUMMBLED IDENTIFICATION." MADE THE COMMENT " I CAN CALL ANYWHERE i WANT TO FOR WHATEVER REASON i WANT TO". NOT SURE , BUT SOUNDS LIKE A BILL COLLECTOR. i THOUGHT THIS WAS AGAINST THE LAW IN GEORGIA.

I am confident this is a SCAM but it is extremely frustrating to know it is going on.

How do we stop this????!!!!!!!!!

Recorded message stating there's a civil law suit against me,and it's important that I call back to leave a statement or to press "9" to speak with someone.

They left a message.  This is Sandra with CMS.  When I tried calling back I get a recording  that just says "leave a message"  Does not even say the name of the company.

They called my job and said that if I didn't call back the cops was coming for me

I just did and they said there was a law suit after me and asked if I wanted to leave a statement on the case. It was a recording.
