The other number they used right after they called was a #855-277-9636; I called back later in the day and some woman with an accent answered saying "PSYCHIC READINGS". What the heck is this?! It's time to harass them. Thanks for all posts

I gotta a call from 855 881 8484 saying that they will be serving me on Tuesday at home or my employment place, I called back and the lady put me on hold....I want wait and see bc it is so ridiculous, did anyone get a call from this number. I am enrolled with a debt consolidation firm and since then I got all this calls. The company told me that it would probably happen.

This is the biggest SCAM....... dont believe a word they say.  Even if you might have fallen on hard times and not paid a debt there is a statute of limitations......Do your homework.....be strong and tell them to F@&K OFF.

It's the old page 15 scam.   No body is going to show up.  This scam is growing winter hair it is so old.  
Faxes don't mean crap anyway.  Anyone can send a fax.....

Well I get a call from Mrs Pemberton stating that they have recs a fax from my local county regarding this case. And a man left a message to look at page 15 and call him to discuss my court date.
Then I recd a call from a courier service 18776307357 stating they serving me and to be home within the next 48 hrs and 2 forms of I'd. And that was 18 of Jan.  They say itvts Miller and Clark firm.??????

I first started getting the calls from Lombardi & Rossi in Cheecktowaga NY, I tracked down their physical address and sent a stipulation to them via certified mail and notarized, they received it saturday, now the Lombardi & Rossi stopped and Miller & Clark started, with the same mo, blocked number stating legal actions in another state, Gave a PO Box 550 in West Seneca NY to send our paper work to, any one have a physical address to serve them with a stipulation?

These people are scams.  They call you from an unknown number and claim to be a law firm and they leave and give personal and legal information to whomever they call or whomever answers, about the person they are calling for, which is illegal.  They have gotten smart they are no longer using the above listed phone number.  It is now an 877-630-7351 and 877-630-7383.  I have also looked these people up on the internet and they are not legitimate.  There is no Miller & Clark Law Firm located in New York.  I confronted them with this information and they hung up on me, after I called them back.  I did not identify myself. I asked for a physical address and I was hung up on, numerous times.  Don't fall for this scam.  The name on my caller ID is that of a friend and they accused me of being her and gave information about her.   This is ILLEGAL, even after I stated that I was not the person they were trying to reach.

This happened to us n even my elderly mom. They called n threatened her n degraded her. Gave dates to b in court n the date was on a Sunday . Like really!!! These ppl need to get in trouble for harassment!!!!

I am an Attorney and because my name is common, i received a call from these guys today. I work for the Department of Justice, so i have my team researching this company and I ran across this page. Please do not send any money to these guys, it is a SCAM. Please contact the better business bureau and Federal trade Commission to report the calls. It is sad that in this economy people are looking for ways to scam money from people that are working to stay above water. The number that came through my phone is 877-630-7351, the same message about page 15 was left on the voicemail. First it is against FDCPA for debt collectors to leave a message of that nature on a consumer's voicemail. So to say that you are from a law firm and you leave a message of that nature is unethical and dumb. Second, noone other than yourself can sign for a package from a process server, if you have not authorized an alternative person to receive documents on your behalf. Keep all your voicemails and correspondance from this company because you will need it soon.

These folks are total scam artists.  They buy bad debt and try and collect on it well past the statute of limitations.  They'll throw legal around legal terms in an attempt to scare you.

Know the law (and the statute in your state).  Don't buy into their scam.  Contact your attorney general and report them for FDCPA violations.  

Granted, they'll just keep changing company names and spoofing new numbers but they will eventually go down in a ball of flames.

This is the third time I received a call from this number and I recorded the message, I took it to my county sheriffs office since the call said the were investigating for a local court, which they are not. So now the sheriff's office is going to investigate them. Don't you just love when there is pay back.

Called from Miller & Clark saying they received a referral from a local agency. Please call.  No name given for the caller...just call my office.  Femaile caller

Just got a message saying that my local court has an investigation proceeding against me and I need immediately contact them to discuss this.  If my local court is investigating for some reason, why would they be contacting them to discuss it with me? I would think the DA's office would be doing it. So know it is BS.  Not calling them, like everyone else said, let me know the court date and I will be there. Otherwise, stop the BS calls.  You try to scam and scare innocent people. Not working here.

this idiot from the alleged miller and clark called me twice and said his name was alan goodman, then he was ben richter. both times he left a message with the word "today" that sounded the same. i think people who call to say threatening crap like he did deserves to have their nuts chopped off and sent for a cruise right to the sun!!!!!

Got a call from this number. The guy said his name was Joseph strine. I didn't bother to pick up the phone. These people are not honest. Then someone called from a private number and left this number 1-855-218-2360

Called wrong person. Party was in rehab he was looking for, no name given. Said I was a nice senior and would remove my number. Never gave any info nor did this guy ask for anything.

They must be working hard because they're making the phone call rounds pretty quick!  Anyone knows how to google a company name or phone number nowadays, they should probably just give it up.  The cover has been blown wwwiiidddeeee open, guys!  Go ahead, make me rich.  I've got nothing but patience and time and married to an attorney.  You'd make my day :)  Keep calling me.

For the last couple of weeks I've been getting the exact same message as everyone else. Today I got a new message from a different guy. I'm a stay at home mom, and don't work, so I immediately knew it was a scam. I just wish they would stop bugging me with the phone calls!

These people have called me and left messages daily for several weeks.  Idiots.  Everytime I try to return the calls I get a recording and have left messages several times.  When I finally did get in tough with a live person I was told I was lying when I answered personal questions and when I refused to verify personal information such as social security #, etc. they hung up on me.  I called back and the same person answered, stating that he was not the person that I just talked to.  I proceeded to tell him about the FTC regulations tht I have a right to have the disputed debt in writing and that I can also request for the calls to stop he laughed at me and said "I can guarantee you the calls won't stop."  He hung up on me, only to call back with an automated message a few minutes later.  These people are illegally trying to harrass others into paying a debt, whether or not it's legitimate.  Rude and unethical.  When I said I was recording the conversations I was promptyly disconnected, only to have another return call that was automated.  What do I do about this??
