Thank you people.  We got the same message on our phone.  We were suspicious so I put in the name they used and landed here.  You saved me a lot of time and energy.

Same story here. Lisa answered "Katy Gates" phone extension when I called back.  When they started asking numerous questions about me and my company, I simply stated "You should know who I am since you called me in the first place."  Then I got a quick response from Lisa simply stating "Oh I see you now and it looks like Katy is sending you our updated catalog by UPS,"   End of call.  I'm certain that nothing is on the way to me.

I have actually called these people back before, and it is INDEED a scam.  They get you on the phone to order office and/or safety materials, that you likely don't need, in exchange for them sending you a t-shirt or hat of your favorite sports team.

They use a lot of "hard sell" talk and if you're not listening/paying attention, I'm sure you could get into a lot of trouble.

This Katy Gates person is obviously VERY busy, as I probably get this message 2-3 times per month...even after we have asked to have our number removed.

I have received several calls from (801)692-7894, mostly just hang-ups, but one msg with the same details as listed above, Katy Gates from EQF Sports Promotion Dept. calling about my priority overnight package (which I am not expecting), call back at 855-222-1581. Another time a msg was left and was just garbled voices. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I just received this at 8:02AM this morning, same message as everyone else.  I played it several times to get all of the details, which have already been posted here.  Thank goodness for 800notes.  I did not call back.  The number on our caller id came in as 805-465-1035, even though "Katie Gates" said to call 855-222-1581.  We are in the 805 area code, so they have a fairly elaborate scam of some sort going on.

Our local government office received this message overnight with the same name and message. I did not return the call, and I also believe it is a scam. We do not order items for overnight delivery that are sports-related. Delete the message and move on.

Our company also received the exact message and contents. I did not return the call either and was suspicious it was a scam since we did not order anything nor was expecting a delivery either.

Received call from same number. Message also said caller's name was Katy Gates, from EQF Sports Promotion Department asking the same of me - to return the call to 855-222-1581 for our priority overnight package to be released. The caller ID came up Wirleless Caller 941-404-2607.  Before she began to leave the message, I could hear numerous other voices in the background. We are in the 941 area code.

I just received the same call from the same person. I'm not expecting any package either. Amazing what some people think they can pull on honest, hardworking people smh

Got a voicemail from Katy Gates of EQF Sports Promotion Department asking me to call 1-855-222-1581 to release an overnight priority package.  I never called the number back because I am NOT expecting to receive an overnight package, must be some sort of scam.
