Do not call me!

On the Wells Fargo web site they list Ace as their insurance provider for disaster protection.  If you go with their policy they bill you on your mortgage bill, so there is definitely some affiliation. See this link : https://www.wellsfargo.com/help/insurance/index

I have received 58 calls from this number from march 9th to March 15th.  I have a phone that allows me to block the calls so I only hear half a ring.  

My number is on the do not call registry.

Multiple calls over last several days, no VM message left.

left no msg.

Called several times a day and finally I had enough.

Ace American Insurance wanting to sell you mortgage insurance in the event that you can't pay your mortgage or your home gets damaged.  They called on Behalf of "Wells Fargo Mortgage".

I told them to take me off the list and they at least "pretended" they would.

Too many calls to count from this caller!!! No voice mails!!!! I am on the DNC list, too!!!!

This number calls my house 3-4 times a day, never leaves a message!  How do I get off of their list when I am already on the national and state "Do Not Call"/

same as every one else. sick and tired of it.

I also get calls once or 3 times a daily-- some are super early, and others can be 7 or 8pm!! next time they call i'm going to ask to take my number out of database, although i have requested this before!

They are NOT Wells Fargo. I answered the call and they claimed to be a disaster insurance company, Ace American Insurance, affiliated with Wells Fargo. Their policy sounded good, but when they started asking me personal questions I hung up and googled Ace American, and the phone number. First off, Ace American looks like a corporate Insurance provider, not a per person insurance company. I then called Wells Fargo's fraud phone line, they took down the name and number and said they did not have any affiliate by that name. The rep reminded me financial info(in my case, that my home mortgage was through Wells Fargo) is available online as public record, as is my office phone number. That makes it fairly easy for someone to sound legit over the phone. Best reaction I think is to ask for their company information (physical address, names and phone number) look it up online, then call back. Thats waht I will do next time for sure.

Hi I am a Representative for some of the services that Wells Fargo has to offer. I must say that I am sorry to hear about you getting hung up on, I am sure that it can be quite frusterating, I believe that the reasoning (which is unacceptable) behind that is all of these promotional calls are on list of 5000+ customers, that are automaticly put into a computer system that automaticly dials the calls without the representatives doing anything. From my personal experiance as a telemarketer for Wells Fargo here is how these calls take place for us...We are looking a blank computer screen with a headset on hooked up to a mute box, no phone involved on our end, it will then beep when a call has arrived to our end of the system where then the customers information will be displayed, the very unfortunate side of this autmatic dialer is that the customer could have already been saying hello 3 or 4 times, or just rang once which we would then end call (sometimes as the hello comes it is too late). Also because of policies and laws are not able to leave messages.....
Wells Fargo has seeked out to telemarketing centers to let their customers know about these promotional offers and is why we call on behalf of Wells Fargo and not from. and is paid on an hourly wage and not per call, and unfortunally can not controll who and how many times a person is call.

We've been receiving these same calls - multiple times a day.  When you call the number back, you get a message that the "call did not go through as dialed."  I just want them to stop!!

I've been recving these blasted call's constantly, one time i answered the phone it was Wells fargo telemarketer i said not interested stop calling me, they keep calling.
one time called # back got a recording saying if you'd like for these call's to stop press 1, did that guess what they still call. they call 3 & 4 x  a day. and i'm on the DO NOT CALL REG. how can they bypass that. BETTER YET HOW DO I MAKE THEM STOP, i have called ID, they call i don't answer no msg, just hang up,
thought there was  law against this, it's like harrasment.

Getting calls from this company too. But don't even pick up the phone, instead looking up the phone number to learn more.

They are bothering us every day. Since we have a home loan with them my theory is that they have lost our documents and want us to refinance to restart a valid paper trail.

This number has been calling me off & on for more than 6 months.  Not suprised its Wells Fargo.  We have our home loan through them, so this pee's me off even more.  They used to call me from another number and whenever I tried to pick up, they would hang up on me or never leave a message.

Then, when I called the number back, I would get a recording saying that someone from Wells Fargo had tried to contact me about a promotional offer.  Which would be okay, if they would actually talk to me, but they never did.  They always hung up, even if I answered on the first ring.

Same with this new number, except now when I try to call the number back, I get something like an operator message "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try your call again...".

I wonder if Wells Fargo has contracted someone to make phone solicitations for them, and the contractor is getting paid per call.  I can think of no other reason why a solicitor would continually call the same people and hang up on them.

Has anyone spoken to Wells Fargo directly about this? I thought they always seemed to be one of the more reputable financial institutions.

They called my home 6 times today, beginning at 8:10 am.  Spoke with someone in the afternoon and the calls still keep coming....Six calls by 6:12 pm.....

Got called but no message (wasn't able to get to phone in time).
I don't have caller ID so I get really pizzed when someone calls, doesn't leave a voicemail, then I do a star 69 to find out.  And when I find out it's not someone I want to talk to, that's another $1.75 (PLUS taxes & fees) I'd like to bill to charge those idiots who call & don't leave a message.  Wish I could send Wells Fargo the bill...

This number called FIVE times (5) in a row today - never leaving a message. They called at 12:51, 13:25, 13:46, 14:03, and 14:20 Pacific Time. I don't know who they are, but if they call back and I answer, they will be told to remove this number from their database or face FCC charges! If they are a telemarketer, this is a sure-fire way to turn customers off.

IT IS WELLS FARGO.  I ANSWERED.

I'm getting 4 messages a day from these folks.  I'm tired of it. I have no reason to be receiving 1800 calls.
