when you return a call to anyone, whether a collector or a scammer, they will ask you if you are a specific person ( they get same names, relatives and neighbors numbers from databases) if it is not you, then tell them that and they will indicate it is a wrong number. Phone numbers change everyday. If you dont return a call, you cant get mad about multiple messages. Usually it is your own relatives that have left your number as a contact. I am sorry you feel victimized. I make over $100,000 a year calling people that owe money. They are the deadbeats not me. If you cant return a wrong number phonecall without getting butthurt, maybe you shouldnt have a phone.

they called me and got my bank account info and said i owe a company money from 3 years ago... and now they double charged me in one month and are saying they cant credit me back, but will lower my last payment... and "vikki" wont give me her managers name???hmmmmm

Received an urgent message from 855-225-8928 ... "you must call me back at 714-415-3040 today". Something about the "property address". Wouldn't you think they would know the address that they were calling about?

I didn't return the call.

By the way, I just looked up their  phone number in the reverse directory and it just says this is a toll-free number and there is no information available.

I had a message on my machine when I got home.Some guy called at about 11:30 and said he has left 2 messages with me and I have not returned his call. First - he was very rude. Second - I have never had a call or message from this number. I do not like rudeness - it is NEVER appropriate. Neither is lying, which is even worse.  Thank you for allowing me to vent my frustration.

This has to be a scam. A friend of mine told me that they where trying to get hold of me. I'm not available for no one. They are in considerate. someon had used my number for a reason. I want called them at all.

No I'm not one of them. But I know when I owe money to get it taken care of. I'm not guna sit here and say it's a scam when I know I've owed money before. I know how their system works from friends who have been in collections. They buy accounts from places like the payday loans and stuff. If people would pay their bills when they got them they wouldn't have collection agencies like these people call them. If you owe money pay your bills. Don't wait five years to get a call from these places and then complain about it.

I am getting phone calls from them now.

we dont owe for payday loans that these scammers say we do. they are scum and should go back under the rock they crawled out from!! maybe you are one of them and need to shut up and get a real job and quick taking advantange of folks!! you all are nothing and you cant hurt us in any way, cuz most of us on onto your friggin scams!! The FBI and FTC has shut a few of you down and that is good!! so dont call us dead beats and we pay our bills that are ours!!

If you people were smart enough to ask questions like I do then you'd know what it was. Like collections. If you don't pay your bills they'll get you. Duh. Don't owe money youd eadbeats and there won't be a problem. They called me but had the wrong number. All you have to do is ask questions and they'll tell you.

Not scam. Talked to "head of administrative staff" cuz it scared me too. Someone had used my number for theirs so they said the message was a way to find out when we call back if they're talking to the right people. Thankfully it wasn't me. :). I was forwarded to the Diane lady...she was rude but everyone else was very cooperative with my questions.

These people called my house today and left a message. My father was just about to dial the number when I told him I would google it first. Thank God I did! I simply hate people like this. Fortunately their scam was obvious and ill thought out. Whoever thought it up must not have brains of a rat.

Just called me. Called back and they said they were looking for and Emily Blankmoore. I advised they had the wrong number and they said they would have number removed. Then immediately hung up before I could ask questions.

I just got the same thing as everyone else. CCS and they left several message. Not on my machine. I call them back this is the law office of susan something and leave a message and a number to return this call. I left a message and gave them a piece of my mind.

Same call just now!!! Saying he was with CCS and has left me several msgs, although I have never received a msg or call before! Also does not even say who they are calling for? TARDS!!!

When answering call message said this is CTS call me back at this number..855-225-8928 said must call back today.. I don't know about anyone else but if they want to talk to me that bad they would not leave a recording..
Have no idea who or why they are calling me.. GRRRRRRRR' these calls infuriate me..

These people called my inlaws - a number I have never given out and told them they were looking for me in regard to a criminal matter. I am currently deployed in the middle east and needless to say, this scared my family to death. They left no business name, just the message "Call Vicky regarding a criminal matter." and this number.

I just got a call from them too. They don't say who to talk to. I definitely know that it is a scam. I absolutely hate scam artists.

This just happened to me 10 minutes ago!

just got the same message ... never had the number call before but siad it had left several messages.... if you call the number they give it goes to the office of Ms Diane Moore.... no clue who it is
