Why there calling my house saying the police are coming

got a call from this number to call another number sayimg I was being sued by Verizon called Verizon and they said there not suing me its a big scam people don't give them no info

these people called me my sisters house ,my other sisters work saying for me to call them to talk with the lawyer. then they gave me a reference number. i never called them. 20 minutes later a  someone else called me with a different number 1-912-268-8153 asking if i talk to the lawyer, i hung up and they called my home and cell phone. they kept calling me and calling me. that is harassment.  I want those idiots in jail

Got a call at nephews from this number , called back to see what it was about and would not give any info abot it so she said my husband would be getting a summoms  to go to court supposedly this is from1996 first she didn't even have his name right and then gave us the last 4 of his social, so not sure what's its about but Scam sounds about like it as well here , ughhh

Called family members saying they need to serve papers on my husband. Wanted personal info but were refused. There are NO debts on my husbands credit report. My family was told he is part of a lawsuit and they needed to know how to get ahold of him to serve papers. I told my family when they call back to tell them they need to contact the local sheriffs department in order to serve papers. This is the second time (different number same case number given though) that they have contacted family members and told this lie. Still no papers. They stopped calling my aunt when she told them to go through the sheriffs office. I am currently out of state as well as my husband and would like to wish them luck with those papers. If they were legitimate the officers would have been knocking on the door already. We live in a very small community and are related to the several people in law enforcement, maybe they will get the call next. They are a company that goes straight for the scare tactics. Don't fall for it. Best of luck to any who deal with these idiots. A legitimate company would have personal info and would send letters first not go through the family tree first. I personally can not wait until they actually get my phone number and try this on me. I would just have my family give it to them but that would spoil the fun.

This is a scam , the caller supposedly was a process server and some one with the last name of Walker had filed suit against my stepfather.   They said the woman was 27 years old.   My stepfather passed away 9 years ago, she would have been 16.  They called my son on his cell phone in a western state, how they got his name and cell I dont know , but they did .  I live in a southern state, son told them I was executor of his estate they needed to call me. I called my daughter because I smelled scam and she led to me to this site.   Thank you so much.   They gave me this number and a case number to call, aint gonna happen

bad check call

Well they are a collection agency i suppose. i got a call from a blocked number that left a message to call this number 855-239-6294. when i called them they said they are serving me with a summons for court for a payday loan, i could stop this if i paid the 300 loan amount and the 300 fees 600 or go to court. when i told her that i would wait for the court, hoping i could get a better payment plan for this she hung up. I called back and talked to another person, they are quite threatening and very rude, if you try to say anything they hang up. so now i wait to go to court, which is not what i want, its want they want.

I received the same exact call...

She said her name was Ms. Poole and that she was from American.  She said it looked like bad check charges and since she could not speak to me directly I was required to call her legal office to avoid going to court for this supposed bad check.
