Calling tocollect   a  debt. I have     2  debts,  making  pmts. everymonth.  They  don't care  what  is,  they  keep  callinmg 8:00  every morning   and 9:00 at  night.  Same   story  as   all   the  above.    I  have no    idea how   to  stop   the   harrasement.Urs

I keep receiving phone calls from this number, although I never answer them.  I have no debt and wonder if there's a way to get the phone calls to stop.  I don't want to speak with them.  US government action against these frauds would be welcome!

Please tell me you didn't really give them your SSN?  Never give out your SSN, CC or any other personal data to ANYONE who calls you first.

They call relentlessly sometimes one minute after the last call. Its a huge scam and shows as a toll free number so they aren't official.

Just got a call from this # asking for my ex-husband's girlfriend who lives in another state - seriously? Definitely a scam!

Same as above comments.  Would only identify themselves as united recovery systems. Calling frequently and not leaving a message.  When I called them they said they needed more info from me before they could tell me the nature of the call.  So I hung up and did a search on the phone number, and here we are.... Next time I receive a series of calls like this, I won't bother calling the number back first; I'll just do the search on the number!

Total scam - didn't and wouldn't reveal who they were or purpose of their call until i gave them my ss and birthdate, even after I insisted them telling me who they were.  Total BS - don't answer or call them out - it's a scam

They calling  my relative trying to reach me for credit card debt , screw them , thet got fom me interest at 24 % for the last 10 years , enough paying .

they,ve been trying to get money from mw for last couple of months. when they call i dont answer, when i call them back they say they cant discuss that with me because they can't find me in the system.

Rec'd call from this #; since it said Unknown Caller, I did not answer.  I am TIRED of all these lousy anonymous phone calls all day long!!  We have no debt, so it can't be a legitimate debt collector.

We get calls from this number a lot.  we have not been able to talk to anyone and pressing the numbers they say to press do not work.  Pain in the a**!

Debt  collector ?  I only have one parking ticket and i've never been sent anything in the mail.  All  bills are current.

Have received incessant calls from this number starting at 8 am in the morning to late afternoon. Can never get anyone to answer.

They just called looking for a distant in-law who doesn't even live here.  I asked if I could take a message.  LOL.

They called me looking for my ex at 8 am. I wanted to know how they got my cell? Then I cursed them out and told them they better not ever call here again. If my ex owes that's not my problem..I am frurious

When I picked it up they hung up.  This one was at 8 in the a.m.  
Last night it was at 9 p.m.

TOTAL SCAM. They just tried the same thing with my co-worker saying she owed a huge debt to Amex and that she should take out her check book and write a check to them.

Beware!!

If you have no debt,  and they are trying to get your ss# and birthdate,   YES,  indeed they are up to no good.
If they were legit,  they certainly wouldn't expect you to hand out that information over the phone.  Well,  I guess some would,  but we've all learned by now not to give out any info. at all unless we orginate the call to a known business.   good job.
