I don't know who these people are but I have been scamed once but not thr second time if I owe something then go to the courts and police to find me not what they think is family

Holly they are definately ripoffs i worked there and they wont serve any papers on you because they have no intentions on doing so.  they are breaking the FDCPA Laws with their threats!!!!

michael is not the person who really called you that name is an alias, the person who called you said they didnt know what the court papers were about and all you had to do is contact the agent for imformation but what you dont realize is 1st they are calling from a blocked number, 2ndly the person who left the message for or with you is also the person you will speak with when you call back ( they disguise their voices), Ashley the receptionist is Mr Garcia or should i say Gilbert the owner Anthony's right hand man!!  they are scams and the accounts they say they are taking people to court on are Out of Statue and they have no intentions on taking you to court and that's why you never get coyrt documents although they say you will receive them...Liars!!!  i had the misfortune of working fo this bolier room company where their are 2 employees mr Garcia and Mr Avalon who resides in the office which they do not supply water, break room but does have an office that looks as if squatters live there.  Watch out!!!

You are 100% correct, How does a balance come from $3k to $432?? The accounts are out of statue, and probably have already been paid.  PAR buys the debt again knowing about this information to try and make a quick buck.  They pay pennies on the dollar and add tremendous amounts of interest and try to scare and intimidate you you into paying.  Here comes the threats of litigation which they have no intentions on doing.. Good you scanned your letter because the owner Anthony and his side kick Gilbert (Mr Garcia) are a joke. Lets not forget Jesse Avalon or should i say Corey.  Dont pay them anything they are crooks and breaking the FDCPA Laws!!!!

Tony they are crooks!!!  I had the misfortune of working for that office if you want to call it an office it has no water for employees, no break room, the owner Anthony does care about anyone or anything except money his little side kick Gilbert is the same way.  they dont even pay their employees correctly.  they break the law by threatening people with cort papers on the way which is an outright lie.  They are located in Lake Elsinore Ca, San Diego Ca and now in Las Vegas Nv.  So they buy very old out of statue accounts for a little or nothing, add extemely high interest and threaten with court dates and most importantly breaking the FDCPA  laws because they have intentions on taking anyone to court which again is a violation of the FDCPA if you dont believe me check it out.    UI have been doing colelctions for many yrs and hated working for that company.

Ron the reason why no one showed up was because is was a threat of legal action on account you may or may not have had.  The account was totally out of statue and PAR or TAC has no right to threaten you with any type of court papers or anything because they didnt even have an intent to litigate against you,. Look under the FDCPA guidelines to see what your rights are because they definately broke the law.  i used to work there and felt so bad regarding the things i had to say to people knowing they were illegal, any help in this matter hit me up!!!!

mr Garcia has been calling me and my family making threats telling me if I don't pay 1400.00 dollars I will be charged with faud

They think just because were poor were also STUPID!!! I guess they didnt count on anyone researching their ""business" I strongly feel like they are poor slobs noone will have anything to do with so they have set up a "business"  in their mommies basement!

They called my mom saying she owned money to a store that us no longer in open and when i started asking a bunch of?  The guy got upset began to get flushed and the one thing that set everything off was when i ask what therd website was he said they didn't have one i then google up the company and found it was a scam so i called back to confront them about it and he quickly hung up

mr Garcia called me and told me that there was a credit card in my name for 1400 dollars and if I didn't pay it fraud charges were being taken out on me and I had 2 hours to make a decision what should I do they just took 348.62 out of my bank account what should I do

This man called and tried to tell me I had a complaint against me would an adult be home to recieve a summons. I didn't know what he was talking about. He later called my parents phone across the country threatening that I had a warrant out for my arrest. Ridiculous. Obviously some kind of scam. I input the number he gave my parents because he wouldn't tell me who are what this "complaint" was, or who he was.

This same company called my home number today threatening to take "me" to court if I didn't respond within 3 hours. However, the name of the person they said they wanted was my daughter's ex-sister-in-law (my daughter has been divorced almost 20 years).  They even left a file number. Have no idea how they connected us. We've moved since my daughter's divorce. Her sister-in-law has never been in my new house, let alone live here.

I just received a call on both my cell phone and my home phone from these people. They asked for me by my maiden name which hasn't been my last name in almost 15yrs. They asked if someone would be home Mon. thru Fri. from 8 am to 5 pm to accept the court summons. I told them "Sure". He then went on to tell me that they would attempt only 3 times then a warrant would be issued. I simply kept my answers to "Sure" & "Okay". He never even asked if he was talking to the person they were looking for. On my cell phone the caller ID said only 951. On my home phone it showed only "Unknown Caller". On a hunch I answered it, I usually don't & sure enough, it was the same guy who had called 2mins before on my cell. My cell phone has a call recorder on it & I have saved it to "Important".

My sister just got a call today from some guy looking for me, stating that I was being summoned to court and that if she did not tell him where I was she would be arrested.  Number one, I work with Law enforcement and know darn well that everyone around here knows where I live and that a "real" court summons is brought to you by the sheriffs department.  I called the number back, after getting a run around and on hold, I finally talked with a John Peters, he claimed I owe US bank money.  Number one I have never had an account with US bank..  After reminding him that what he was doing is illegal and that I would be contacting my attorneys and taking all the necessary steps to have them charged with harassment and fraud, it sure was amazing how he back tracked very quickly and then said that they would be removing my information from their system.  Oh and I have never even gotten any type of letter from this so called Performance Assets company...  These people are frauds, do NOT trust them.  If you do get a call from them contact the FCC, the BBB and your attorney.  These cowards will continue to make up false debts to try and scam you out of money if you do nothing to stop them.

My son received calls from this number looking for his uncle, stating they were looking for him and he had to return the call within 1 hour. I returned their phone call and the phone was answered "corporate offices". After explaining why I was calling, the call was transferred and answered "Legal Dept". On questioning, the man said he was from "PAR_performance asset recovery and it involved a civil manner". My brother has never lived at the address where my son lives, nor is in any way connected to my son's phone number. I think these people are scammers. I called my brother who googled the number and found lots of comments that they are running a scam.

They have been harassing my family members, even my ex-husband for over 10 months and calling my work.  This agency is ruthless in trying to collect on a payday loan that I defaulted on. Yes, I owe the money and want to pay it back but not like this. They have threatened me, with being served to go to court, threatened me with possible jail time, check fraud and wage garnishment?.seriously!!!
After two weeks of this harassment from Performance Asset Recovery I finally got some help from a company called consumer credit helpers.  They?re a not for profit organization and never asked me for a dime.  CCH helped me file a complaint with the States Attorney General Office, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and finally the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Next they put me in contact with an attorney, who feels we have a case against Performance Asset Recovery for several FDCPA violations. They were great to talk to, with wonderful advice and information. I recommend anybody getting harassed by Performance Asset Recovery   should take my advice and stand up for your rights!  Call CCH at 1.855.672.1988.

Just had same scam as above but was a call for my son, whom only calls me on my cell phone & since he just recently moved back to the area, I'm not certain he even knows my new home number. I believe the scammer is possibly just looking up the same last name of people in the area & calling them.

Pretty much the same scenario. They called, gave me an hour to call back. Involved with a debt for my deceased father and taking my 98-year-old mother to court. They've also called my place of work as an intimidation tactic.

I have recvd several calls from a blocked number over the past 2 days.  They state I need to call back  855-255-6155 within 2 hours or they will be force to take action against a complaint that was filed against me.  They leave no other info except a case number.  Glad I looked this up online.  I have no outstanding debt or legal action against me. I will ignor these calls and am looking into what else I need to do if they do not stop.

They are very clever. I have the same name as my father, who's been dead for four years. They called and said they were taking my mother to court (she's 98) because of a debt my father had from 1999. I was given a hour to call back otherwise I would go to court ... or my mother. They're very scary. They called my mother, who was slightly confused because they wanted her to send money because of her dead husbandr's debt. Then they called my sister's cell phone. They not only called my cell phone, they called the place where I work.

Called me today. Same tactics. Said I owed over $4000 for a gym membership from 8 years ago!!! Acted "surprised" when I told them that I hadn't been served a subpoena. Told them to go ahead and serve the papers and they claimed they would. We'll see I guess. $4000 for a gym membership? Must have been one hell of a gym! Lol

Yeah, they just called my sister and brother-in-law about an hour ago (noon on 11/7/2012) so they must still be around as of today.  I am an easy person to contact, so any legit lawyer/debt collector/police officer/etc. would not need to contact any of my relatives.  

Funny, the case number they gave us started in "666".  I wonder who these guys REALLY are???

I think I might just call them back and have some phone fun at their expense....hee hee.
