This is a company by the name of Regency Communications, Inc., and has nothing to do with RCI. A big scam trying to sell you a timeshare by offering a free vacation. Don't fall for this and don't ever buy a time share.

Who knows anything about 855-257-7118?

"Stephen" called rather late in the evening claiming to be from RCI Cruise and Resort Vacations, but was then pretty rude. Not a way to get business! We're members of RCI and their customer service is NEVER rude. I called RCI to find out if this was a legitimate call and they informed me that they only have one toll free number, and this 855 number was not theirs. I suspect it's a scam, it's not RCI.

I get a call from 855-257-3160 every day.  Is there anyway I can stop this?  I am already on the do not call list.

RCI looking for money; they never call otherwise.  

I have a Panasonic wireless phone and it allows me to block up to 30 numbers at a time. Once I add a number to the list, when they call again it rings once and stops.

"Toll Free" from Vacation time share company RCI.  You're getting calls, if you are a member, about special travel offers.

I called the number and asked them to put me on the do not call list.  He said he would. It said it might take up to 30 days. then he wanted to tell me about their special promotion. I cut him off and told him I wasn't interested. He wouldn't give up. He must get paid for each sales pitch he gives.  He finally agreed to up me on the do not call list. He said they would not be calling with special promotions in the future. I told him that would be great. I told him he could contact me using their junk mail. He said they don't contact by mail. I told him he was wrong because I throw it away all the time. I told him he could continue to contact me by e-mail.  It is easy to delete those as fast as they come in. I told him that I would put this info on line so that others that are getting harassed by their calls would know the procedure for getting off their call list.  As a side note, I am a member of RCI and this is the number they have for me.  We'll see what happens.

i don't answer if I don't recognize the number. My answering machine is turned off.  So it just rings with no response from my end. This is a land line. These idiots call day after day, then I don't hear from them for a while. then it starts up again. I put a message on my cell phone stating that this was a government agency (i used a name) and said due to the government shut down etc etc etc.  All my unwanted calls have stopped on that phone.  My neighbor answers his cell stating that this is a business phone and we don't - something something something.  He said this works.  Of course some of these calls hand up on you, or say nothing, or give you breathing sounds or background noises.  I think it is worth a try. These RCI idiots are trying to sell me a cruise.  I will never buy on a phone call from them.  If I want to take a cruise and use RCI, I'll call them.

I called the 855-257-3160 and it is RCI cruises.  I said take me off your call list and they said ok.  They have been calling for weeks and sometimes after 9PM.

If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it.  I just let it ring, PERIOD

I have Knology which has recently changed to WOW or Wow Way, The instructions are the exact same but you access mine thru *60 instead of *80.

Just got yet another irritating 855 257 3160 call. I never answer calls I don't recognize. Tried sending text to tell them to lay off and you can't even do that. I am on no call list, so how do they get around that? Should be against the law. No way you can get to them without returning call. Going to AT T to find out how to block. Scams all of them.

Verizon...AGAIN. They called 4 hours ago from a different number and then called again from this one. The timing of calls seems to coincide with online activity when I browse new phones. It's annoying. I will buy a new phone when I'm ready to.

Paypower held my $4000 for no reason and refuse to give me my money!!
When I asked them to close my account and give me back my money, they refused!
You don't even have to put in your card number or identify yourself when you call them, they know you by your voice! They refuse to give their last names and the Nevada detectives are investigating them!

They claim that all the reviews online are not true and that they are reputable but they steal your identity and your money!
I sent them all the documents they requested and then they are asking for a copy of my paycheck to release the hold that they placed on my $4000 for NO REASON AT ALL!

Got a call from this strange number, no message or anything.

Depending on what phone company you have it might be different, but I have Comcast, and I press *80. It's called Selective Call Rejection Service, and I can have up to 12 different phone numbers blocked at any one time. In my case you call *80 then press 3 to turn the service on, then you can press #01# to add the last incoming call to your list, or you can press #(The 10 digit phone number you want blocked)# and that will add that number to your list. You can hear all the instructions by pressing 0. Good Luck, I hope your phone has this service, it saves me TONS of frustration!

More than three times a week a call comes from this number anytime of day (morning, noon, evening).

It is from RCI Cruise and Resorts.  They are legitimately affiliated with many timeshare properties.  They allow you to trade in your timeshare week(s) to travel to other timeshares around the world.  We have used them on numerous occasions.

Received first call at 8:00pm,answered, no one responded, hung up.  Less than five minutes later got a call from the same number, again, no response.  Who the heck is this?

answer to silence.  60 seconds and the call finally terminates in a dial-tone.  I am a member of RCI, and they do call regularly to remind me to deposit my time, to respond to vacation searches, etc.  But not used to the robo-dialer.

got a call from 855-257-3160 five minutes after a call from 855-282-6595.-.both calls showed as "unknown" in caller ID - both calls disconnected after 4 rings (before ans machine picked up).
not sure if numbers are related.

I haven't applied for any jobs or given my number out to anyone.  Have gotten 2 calls from this number on my cell this week.  Thankfully those I KNOW and have a right to call me, I have a special ring tone just for them... the rest go unanswered and no call backs from me.  They have not left a message.
