They are telling me to deposit $$ the bank of America today or they'll take me to court.. I'm glad I Googled this

One of my property owners got a call from above number. Saying that there is a litigation against them and it had to do with tenants. So my owner called me. If it is a true litigation  there are legal steps that have to be taken.I advised her this is a scam and hang up. This company is barking up the wrong tree. I also received the same calls from this number the name given to me was Jim Young.  At first he gave me a number 909-303-7027 then at the end of the conversation when I thought it was really legit he tells me to call him at this number 909-303-7039 and I said you told me the number was the 7027 and he said oh no you must have misheard me.  He wanted me to go to a Bank of America and deposit the money I supposedly owed into their account.  I called him the next day and said when i went to the bank they told me this information is incorrect and this is not a legitimate company this man tells me oh we just had another situation like this when this other lady went to the bank and they told her the same thing but my MANAGER called the bank and told them they must have made an error and everything was corrected. Remind you I was lying to begin with so at that point I knew this was some straight up BULL. He told me the name was Palmar & Associates and I said well I called CA information and they told me there is no such company and the address was to a UPS place then he told me they go by RPA so of course I was thinking you're gonna have to just take me to court with all the inconsistencies you got. BEWARE ITS A SCAM

I got three calls from this place over the last 2 weeks, but I didn't do my home work before agreeing to make a payment. The story they gave me was identical to the ones recounted here. They went by the company names of RPA and Calmar & Associates out of Upland CA although at the beginning the calls just said "legal office"

I agree, that's why the 909# was posted on this sight in relation to this group. The name associated with the number was Frank Silva or Silba, and I also got Brian's name when I called that number back.

The #909-303-7015 is a number that my mother was given by someone claiming we are a reference on someone's account that was a family friend back when I was a 10years old, I am now 30 and we haven't seen or heard from this person since then and we are getting these calls but the name that was given for that number was not Alan Farmer it was Francisco Silva and when I called back to request a cease and desist because we shouldn't be bothered with other peoples problems let alone attempts at scamming that person the man on the greeting says he is Brian Silva, so there seems to be a lot of confusion there. You obviously know this number personally so how about you tell everyone on here what is really going on.

you have a residential landline on there that belongs to alan farmer i have no ties to this place and have been getting calls i will sue you if you dont take off 909-303-7015 this is the farmer residence.  this may have been a
recycled number.  remove this or i will seek action!

I got the same call from "Steven Taylor" on 7.17.2012. The message said I was going to be served a summons in relationship to an acquaintance of mine. He left the 855- phone number and a case number. I called the 855- number and spoke to Michael of RPA & Assoc. He said there was a county complaint against me related to this acquaintance but if I had the acquaintance call him he would remove my name. It's a scam and these guys are do***ebags!

I just got a call from a Steve Taylor saying that they are going to serve me some legal papers to my place of employment or home address monday through friday.. Bunch of bullsh*t. IGNORE.

These people called me several times this year claiming to give out free cruises, they were process servers, sheriffs, police and lawyers from different phone numbers with different caller ID names, but never stated they were from RPA until today. They spoof the numbers making it look like it came from one place when it came from the other and tell you they have a summons with your name on it, and then leave a case # and different phone # to call back.

I get "Out of Area" on my caller ID, and I believe them to be related to Portfolio Recovery,Portfolio Litigation Services LLC  and some other Litigation Group . Today the caller ID read Upland CA.  All of these numbers are supposedly linked together and based out of Ca and WA. Here are some of their other phone #s:

Google this # and look @ the 800notes thread for 877-801-7940.  There is an interesting FBI case warning available that might interest some of you.  It was a FBI case against this same group of people.

Some of the names they use are Michael Johns, Michael Jones, Michael Garcia, Joseph Abbott, Mr. Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Steven Anderson, Daniel Walker, Ricky Taylor, Joshua Burke.

They called my number looking for someone else and left that persons home address and personal information on my voice mail! I don't think that is legal. Will report to the federal debt regulators.
