Got a call from someone claiming to be on the verge of serving me papers in my county in Eastern PA. Told me to call the 855-264-1189 to resolve with the "plaintiff". I called and was told I was being served a summons but if I want to I can work it out with an attorney and pay by Mastercard or Visa. I said I wanted to speak with the "attorney". From working in companies that borrow a legitimate attorney's name, and say they are paralegals with that attorney, I know first hand what this is. They have purchased accounts from Sonar Holdings and now are trying to cash in on them. Be very aware. I asked them to send me the papers stating how much I owed. They said, "oh we cant do that"! Well then, I can pay you! So many scams out there.
