Just got a call from 855-267-6940! I didn't answer but the message was a blank one, sounded like they were calling from a car! I usually just BLOCK the unknown or random callers...

It was a foreign accent, they called me five times in 13 days. I have no idea who it is though...

I too, have an old defaulted student loan. So it is probably about that. I haven't answered yet as it normally only rings twice and I don't get to it in time.

Someone by the name Amir called asking for my social. Said he would transfer me to someone else to explain the reason for the call after I give my information. Beyond sketchy. Refused to give them anything. They then just asked to verify the last four digits which they had correct. Transferred me to a debt collector asking about tuition from five years ago.

They called at 8 am in the morning asking me to verify my personal info. I don't know who they are or why they are calling but I'm not happy they have my personal info. Reporting them to the BBB.

They called again, this time the guy had an America accent, weird... Told them again that they have the wrong number, and they keep calling me at 7 in the morning! Super early for scammers.

Got a call from them and 7602044283 a couple of times today for the first time... I finally answered when they called under this number. Foreign accent, and they asked for me by my maiden name, I haven't had that name in over 4yrs! So it's obviously no one that I do business with, sounds like a scam. Told them they have the wrong number, hopefully they don't call back. IDK who they are...
