855-272-1206

I have received numerous calls from this number as well as 855-560-1406. After a phone call to RBC I was informed that both numbers are NOT legit numbers for RBC. The gentleman i spoke with informed that they would not call as often as these two numbers do and that their numbers are 800 numbers not 855.

I have received numerous calls from this number, often leaving me a message that it's "RBC calling with an urgent message for [me]" and to call back at a number I didn't bother to write down.
Well, I just got off the line with RBC (calling the number on the back of my debit card), and they say that the ONLY reason I might be getting called is as a promotional thing about signing up for the mobile app; and also that this number has nothing to do with RBC. The rep I was dealing with has now reported it as fraud.

I went onto a RBC's insurance website yesterday just to look at prices adn to see what they were offering never sent anything to them for a quote.. but whats stranger is that today I recieved a call from them..no messages left either..guess they are tracking online.Ridiculous.

Star 60. And wait for instructions is what I use with my phone company and it blocks them from calling. :)
Contact your telephone company and see what you can use to block incoming calls.
I have a ton blocked !!! :)

How? This is just a Bloomin Discussion board, not a call blocking service.
Margo Montigny 2014-03-01 20:56:39 Unknown
Please block these calls...

Damn RBC calling to see if you are free to pick up the phone, one you pick up, there is no free/available RBC agent. So it hangs up on you. Just to call you back 5 minutes later... very annoying

Logistics Broker (AJL Global). They claimed to be from UPS to get a number on how many shipments we make, but they should have this information if he was from UPS. I asked for a call back number, but did not get it. However, their phone number came up on the caller ID. I don't know what the penalty is for impersonating a Company, but the one for impersonating a Cop is severe. There should be some legal punishment for these guys.

Just got a call. They claimed to be UPS logistics, but asked how many packages with UPS and FedEX we ship. I asked for a number to call back, he gave me 1800-pickups. But I had them on caller ID, so I called back. The message said they are AJL Global. They are a logistics broker. Sad that they feel they need to impersonate a legitimate company.

Hi,
To the person that was told by RBC that they don't leave messages. They lied to you.
Good Luck

They keep calling but never leave a message.
lee and joe routhier 2013-10-25 19:34:46 Unknown
we have business with rbc, but no reason they should be calling, we do not answer 1800 numbers and if it was that important then leave a message

This is NOT the Royal Bank , confirmed with their security department and Canadian Institute for fraud prevention. Do not call them back , ignore calls and report them to the do not call list.

This number (1-855-272-1206) is indeed a collections agency from the Royal bank. They call people who owe money on their credit.Trust me, from bad experience, it's better to call them back and take some kind of arrangement with them to pay your debts back.Avoiding these calls will only make them call even more and eventually, they will take more drastic measures to get paid. This can really hurt your credit status.Better to be safer now than sorry later.

Calling my number 1 or 2 times per day for over 2 years pertaining to someone who is aged, legally incompetent, and in a home for the aged. I have complained to them more than once about telephone harassment because they refuse to discuss the aged persons matter with me personally This time I was told that the only way that I can stop the calls is to take a lawyers letter to "any RBC branch"...I personally have nothing to do with the Royal Bank of Canada, but obviously I will have to devulge some of my personal information if I I have to involve my lawyer ( and personal cost ).. and for that matter RBC does not come up on the call display, so is it really them anyway....................is this a highly developed form of phishing........I am going to contact the Canadian Antifraud Centre

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) collections left a voicemail looking for a guy who used to have my phone number.
Called them back at the number they left (1-855-272-1205) and explained the person they were looking for is no longer associated with my phone number.
And to whomever said "Pay your bills", I do pay my bills, this guy obviously didn't. ;)

Who call me?
Bill 2013-05-08 19:38:36 Unknown
According to RBC customer service, 855-272-1206 is a valid RBC number.
Calling me 2 to 3 times daily 6 days per week for more than 6 weeks. Leave no messages.
There is no reason for these calls. I told them that my next action would be to report to the police.

Unwanted call they keep calling and don't stop. Very frustrating :(
Linda 2013-03-26 14:45:32 Unknown
Called today. Answered. I said hello a couple of times. Dead air and they hung up.
John 2013-03-21 21:49:29 Unknown
Another call from this number, said they were from RBC, and tried to sell me insurance. RBC says its not them, but fraud.
RBC Business Client 2013-03-02 18:22:27 Debt Collector
This is an RBC courtesy call concerning your overdue bank account balance, line of credit, etc. Or requesting an amount owed to bring your credit card balance out of the negative below your limit. ie your limit is 1000, and you're now -1001 (due to additional charges).
The representative must wait for you to answer before they are connected to you. So there is a short delay before they'll respond after you pick up the phone.
Usually they'll just ask for a minimal amount to be paid as soon as possible. And even if you don't have the money, it's better to talk to them and tell them as much. Otherwise they'll just consider you a delinquent and your debt will grow exponentially.
Judy 2013-02-25 23:12:10 Unknown
Besides, if it IS RBC, why is the call originating from the US. I thought it was Royal Bank of CANANDA, not Royal Bank of US.
Judy 2013-02-25 23:08:02 Unknown
Well....to add to the long list of complaints...this number just called. If it is indeed RBC, why won't they identify themselves? Very suspicious indeed!I answered and got nothing but dead air. I do have accounts with RBC, but they are not in overdraft nor are any payments late. I don't answer because it is a waste of time. I like to play with them sometimes: I will answer, put the phone down in front of the television and walk away. They always hang up.
