These people have called me too and what seems like every member of my family AND my ex husband's family looking for him. Thanks for all your posts everyone, we WILL be reporting them!!

I have had many of these same types of phone calls and messages were left same as yours , I called this number and they are going after these folks for breaking the law and for phone harassment . These people keep calling my work after I have repeatly asked them to stop.  This is harrassment, if they wanted to serve you they would not calll you beofre.  They are rude and stupid when they call.  How do we make this stop.

I'm glad I saw your post because I just received the same type of phone call at my place of employment.  They freaked me out!

I got a call last week very similiar to 'OhioGuy' and the lady leaving the message identified herself as "Kelly". She informed me that if I didn't call the number she provided (855-283-2541) to "settle this out of court" she would be "seeing" me on Friday at my place of employment or at my home. Stupidly, I called the number and they said if I paid $321.50 I wouldn't have to go to court and everything would be settled. I should have looked up information before calling back (which I did right after I got off the phone) and found all of this stuff plus some. When I called to "settle" I spoke with a Jennifer Miller who actually seemed very professional and nice, but I'm sure she was only doing it to get money from me. I immediatly called my bank and cancelled my debit card (they weren't supposed to take the money out until today--Monday). She informed me I would recieve a "reciept" to my email inbox, which I did, however, it is the FAKEST "reciept" I have ever seen! First off, when you open the attachment it opens in a Microsoft Works program!! RED FLAG!! The website listed on the "reciept" is not valid nor is the address. If you google the address it is actually vacant and is up for lease. RED FLAG #2!!

After doing my homework, I filed a complaint with the Internet Crime Center as well as the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and I also filed a complaint with my local police department. Like the reporting officer said, if we are going to arrest someone we aren't going to call you...they WILL NOT call you if they are going to sue you!! The following morning I called my county's clerk of courts office since I was supposed to "appear in court" that Friday just to be sure it was all a scam...and sure enough, they had absolutely NO idea what I was even talking about nor was my name listed anywhere!!! The gentleman on the phone even said himself that they don't make phone calls they just show up.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE FOOL YOU! THIS IS A SCAM! Hopefully one day these people will pay. Lastly, they are violating so many laws by saying those things and leaving those in voicemails.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: you NEED to report them if you get a call...especially to your local police department because not only do these people have all of your information they also have your address.

I just got the same phone call last night. No idea what this is about. Can you tell me who they were and if this is legitimate? I think it's some kind of scam.

That number is (855) 283-2541 and ?. your In case number is ###### you bye. I don't hear anything different to receive any type of stop order. I will be out to see you.?

Tuesday 2/7 call: ?This is Kelly, laRocque we're just calling in reference to a Notice of Intent to appear in court I'm just making sure that you received all the information properly because I haven't received it. Stop order. So I'm still scheduled to to ring on your court day tomorrow. I will be starting with ?. to drive us moving and to your place employment, so please make sure that if you do have any questions or concerns. If you contact appointments off. That number again (855) 283-2541 and The case number ######, you are. ?if I don't hear anything different. I will be seeing you tomorrow.?

I called them back the same Tuesday and they tried to cut a deal with me after trumping up the charges. Today (Weds. 2/8) they didn't come to my house with a packet but I did receive a packet in the mail. I will report if anything else happens. Luckily I didn?t hire an attorney which I almost did.

I had a message for her on my phone today.  Telling me that she had an order to appear in court that she would be serving on the 8th but she didn't know what it regarded and left a phone number and case number to call if I had any questions.  She told me that she would start at my home or my employers on the 8th.  The last thing she said is "You've been served" before she hung up & her name was Kelly.

I received a phone call from this number stating that I have a claim against me. I had to call this number in order to stop this claim or Fallon County would be involved (the county I reside in) would be coming to get me or serve me in two days...Is this real and how do I make them stop!
