www.dotschools.com, has a contact us section on their website.  I would recommend, that if a customer service representative does not want to have your name removed from the Do Not Call section then to request the name of the representative and request the name of the supervisor and forward it to the school through the feedback form available on-line.

One more thing.  The way that these calls work may not be how you think.  The operator actually does not make the call.  You sit in front of a computer screen. Your headset beeps, a name pops up, and you launch into a script.  People would tell me that we already called, and I had no idea.  The computer will give you about 40 calls an hour, so you really have no idea who you are talking to, or if they have already been called.  Also, the schools that they work with are bogus internet colleges that have little more than criminal justice and medical assisting programs.

I am a college student who actually worked for Dot Schools for about a week and a half last summer.  I replied to an ad that said they were looking for people who could help connect potential students to college advisors.  I applied for the job thinking that I would be helping people who were trying to find information about going back to school.  Being a student myself, I thought I would be able to help some people.  Needless to say, the place was a telemarketing scheme.  They told everybody in training that all of the numbers they called came from people who had requested information at college.  BS.  Most people did not know how we got their number.

Anyway, the reason I am responding is to tell you that:

1)  They can hang up on you, so playing music on the phone won't do anything
2)  If somebody asks them to stop calling, the operator is required to place them on the Do Not Call list.  If they are caught not placing the number on the list after a request, the person is fired immediately.  The problem is that this is not always caught.  I can tell you, however, that none of the operators want to continue to call people who aren't interested.  If people don't specifically ask not to be called, though, the operator is not supposed to take any action.  My advice is that you specifically ask them to place you on the Do Not Call list.  If they continue to call, the company will face huge fines.  Follow up, make a complaint, and maybe the company will go down.

For the record, I knew that I wasn't going to last, so I placed every person that did not know why I called on the DNC list.  Hopefully it worked.

finally got someone on the line........as posted above, Dot Schools continuing education.  I told him I was not interested and that I had reported them  He told me he flagged me as do not call.....was polite.......If they call again, I will let you know ;D

Several phone calls from 855-295-8712, leaves no message, when I call back no human response.

This call is from DotSchools.com. They try to sell you "education" from low rate diploma mills. They call me constantly. The calls start at 6am. Upon investigation, DotSchools is part of Affnet.com Affnet is owned by Travis Harritt of Orange, Ca. The type of sites that Affnet markets includes payday loans, crappy education, cheap pharmaceuticals...ect.

They call me constantly! I now call them back and leave the phone next to my radio. THEY CAN NOT HANG UP! Many telemarketers have company rules about hanging up or their phone dialers WON'T LET THEM HANG UP. I eat up there call time and their ability to scam more money from folks.....

its a place called dots school or something like that its where they claim u have requested more info on continuing your education

guy just called and hung up on me and when i called back he was like thank you for calling back... i was like yeah i would not have had to call back but you hung up on me and he replied with oh i did? i said you know you did because you said thank you for calling me back then he was telling me who he was and y he was calling and i hung up then he called right back and once again got hung up on...

I've been getting calls like everyone mentioned... I just decided to call back now (8:30pm) and did get someone & they knew it was me when I called.  It is from Dot Schools... I asked him to remove me from the list & put me on the do not call list & he said he'll take care of that, thanked me for calling & said have a good night.  I'll put in my phone i requested do not  call... if they call again, i'll post again on here.

I was able to finally answer one of these calls
and it was a dot schools wanting to continue
my education so I asked them to STOP CALLING!

I have just started getting these calls this last week like 3 times a day
and did a reverse lookup and it said invalid number.

What the hell is going on?

This # has called many times and because there is no ID, we don't answer. When I call back, no one responds! Very frustrating! I want them to stop calling!

They called three times today, never left a message and when I answer it no one talks.

I have no clue who this could be, but the every two hour calls with no one there is very irritating.
