I got a call from someone stating they are a Server and that a Civil Claim is against me...they will be serving me at home or at wrk between 12 and 5...said I owed 3228.10 ut they will accept 915.00. I didn't even get pay day loan with them and the one I did get it was paid and then some 9intrests) that was in 2011 and its 2014. the number is 855 641 1250 and he goes by James Sullivan.. has this happened to anyone else? and has anyone attempted to show up? this is crazy

so has anyone actually gotten served by these scammers asset relaince group? Or had there wages garnished? Or do they just keep threatening?  Wanna know.because they called.me.also

I got the same call from these company stating that Crescent Jewelry filed a lawsuit on me and if i dont pay them they will summon me at my residence. I told them to tell me what i bought from crescent and i dont remember owing anything from them. They said if i want all that information then i would have to attend the court and they would have all the information and if i go on that route i will have to pay $1800 for all the court fee if I lose and he said, which will be the case. I filed a complaint in FTC regarding this company. I did my research too and it says that it is not even BBB accredited.

Got a call from them yesterday and today again. Saying if I didnt call them back in the next 48 hrs they would come to a decision on my behalf. When I called back I got told of a debt that was from 07. They said they sent a letter to me 48 days ago. Never received a letter. Said they couldnt resend because by the time I receive it, it would be Thursday and would take action Monday. Also said this, if not settled, would be taken to court in the area I live in.  The number that called me was 8553129924 .

THis number called me today, but this is not the first time, I turned the tables on them. I recorded the conversation, and told them I knew my rights, the statue of limitations for my state, and I was recording the call, and reported them to the FTC.

You should record the calls from them. Get an attorney to sue them.

Someone from this number has called every member of my family and are now calling my former employer and stating "we have a judgement against her and don't really want to serve her at work so would you please have her contact us regarding case # such n such". I have told my mother, brother, sister, ex to tell them to stop harassing them, so now they are bothering my former employers whom I'm still in contact with.

By reading the previous comments I am not worried anymore about this. This stems from a problem from over 6 years ago and it's like clockwork, every couple of years they begin again. Should I contact my local law enforcement to report this? I just want them to stop the calls to my friends and family. I've told them to say I'm no where to be found.

Just like previous callers, the caller insisted that I call back in 48 hours  etc.   I recorded the conversation and notified them its for "Quality" purposes

These people are attempting to collect debts that have either been satisfied or are time-barred which means the statute of limitations have passed with regard to filing a lawsuit in order to obtain payment on the debt they paid pennies on the dollar. You should demand written verification of the debt and request written evidence of debt as well as the transfer of contract along with all evidence of writings pertaining to the alleged debt. They REFUSE to identify the name of the law firm allegedly handling your filed complaint. Legitimate law firms identify themselves.

I believe in most cases, the breach is when you first failed to make the monthly payment.

They call claiming they have a complaint filed and then they go the extortion route be threatening you if you do not pay the debt they claim you owe. They also claim you must contact "the law firm handling your complaint" within 48 hours or they will obtain a judgment. This statement is a clue they are scammers. The first words out of their mouths are they have FILED A COMPLAINT. So which is it...is the complaint filed or are they lying? Either way, there is that "Unclean Hands Laches" which means if they lie about one thing they probably are lying about everything else.

Do yourself a favor, file a complaint immediately with the FTC, contact the local police department and file a harassment complaint against them, then contact your District Attorney's office, as well as the California Attorney General's office and file a complaint with them.

Asset rg came up on my credit report. these damn people filed a judgement against me...i can bearly afford to live on my min wage and now there taking 25% of my checks. how can they do thsi..is there a way to counter sue these people. i spoke with my sister which works at a bank and they purchase these accounts for penny on the dollar. and then charge us poor folks for the full balance. if i coulnt pay back then what makes you think i can pay it now..just very pissed that there taking my checks. any help peple?

who are these people....there showing on my credit report. they filed a civil judgement against me in march of 2013. now the f-in courts are garnishing my wages...i tried contact thing them and no answer..maybe i can get help here???
