got voice mail message. from mrs. stover saying she was trying to contact a relative who gave this number as his contact #- for him or his attorney  to call back immediately left her  call back # as 855-325-2918 xtn 163 stated that  an order had been filed in D.C with a reference # of CR201804DC8292 and  in order to avoid this he needed to contact her to rectify the matter. I  called her back advised that  I don't have a relative  by that name  don't  know anyone by that name. Asked her if she needed  the reference # she says she will remove my # from her records. Got my fingers crossed...

BullS**t.......They can't do anything except shoot off their mouths and threaten.  Your court action.....not gonna happen.

You cant go to jail over a payday loan.There is no debtors prison.These people call your work and call your parents and neighborsw all just to embarass you.Its a total scam

A lady called me today stating her name is Gwen her contact number is 1-855-325-2918 ext. 175 telling me to purchase a visa per paid card and call her back with the card numbers so she can get two payments of 255.00 dollars before march 15 the or I am going to jail for non payment of a payday loan. I did get a payday loan but had to change my account number because some company was taking money that shouldn't have been withdrawn. Can anyone out there tell me if you can go to jail for that. she keeps calling me that she will notify my employer if I don't pay and have me arrested.

so has anyone that was threatened actually been served at work? they called my husbands work and threatened the same thing. He is in the middle of a bankruptcy and we told them that and they said it didnt matter, we have a file number and everything to provide and they said they are still going to go after them for frauding a financial institution. they do sound so legit so its so hard to know what to do. they are very rude. my attorney told me not to speak to them, she called a manager there and told them to pull the case. they are not allowed to contact them or we can file against them. IT DOES SEEM LIKE A SCAM! any thoughts you guys?

I just received a call at work from a "Trisha Harris" from this number.  She said the court currently has the order to serve me at work "within the hour".  When I asked her who the so-called creditor is, she said "oh, I don't know".  Really?  LOL.  She gave me a file number and said I must call IMMEDIATELY and request a reverse order form to stop the court action.  I told her I will not be calling, and that she should send them to my place of employment, and in the meantime I will report them to the FTC and the local authorities.  She yelled "GOOD LUCK MOVING FORWARD", and slammed the phone in my ear.  These are scare tactics.  Whether or not you owe money for a personal loan or a payday loan, this is NOT how it is done, ESPECIALLY when they refuse to offer information.  No worries.  It is a scam!  DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM!!!  If they claim to be creditors, or representing one, they should have ALL of your information.  Do not verify anything, either!

They are out of Roanoke Va and they are a scam Oayday loan collection agency.All these agencies act like they are above the law and say they are litigators.Dont fall for thier scare tactics and NEVER give them your debit card number

They are a bunch of filthy pigs. Same swindle, different people, different numbers. Ignore them... No one is going to show up. They certainly won't warn you if you were to be served. The idiot from this number said "magistrate" when it's a judge in Michigan. Also, southern accent, certainly not from around here, and could not pronounce the county correctly, although he claimed to be "in the area". I hope these people rot in hell. How can they go to work each day and think "I am doing something good and productive with my life".

They called my home referencing some check scam and that they were attempting to handle the matter first before it went any further. The man that called my home sounded very official with a detective sounding voice looking for my daughter  concerning a fraudulent check. He sounded so official it was quite frightening. Upon further investigation, I was informed not to respond to them because they are in fact a scam. I also called the FBI, who stated that they are aware of them and that it is a scam.  The key is to catch you off balance and to frightened you into paying something that may or may not be yours. In short, the element of surprise.

It takes months for any kind of court action to occur.They are in Roanoke Va they arnt going to travel out of staate for some stupid court case over a payday loan

Its an awful scam and they are very nasty people.,They want to get thier commissions immediately so they scare people into paYING DEBTS THAT MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT BE THIERS

One of those threatening to serve me at work and I will have to pay my legal fee and there legal fee.They give me 24 hours and court action starts.

They called my job threatening to serve me at work, the lady cursed and argued with me then she hung up in my face and called right back saying the phone call got disconnected when she actuoally hung up in my face. So I told her I will report her to the FTC. And she really got mad and started cursing at me

Its one of those threatening bill collectors
