I received a call from the same number (855-328-8430) and I called and spoke with a young man who helped me out alot. I resolved a loan that I put on the back burner (so to speak) some personal issues. I lost my original documents and the gentleman emailed me over a letter that showed I owed it and it was helpful because you cant just trust anyone calling you about something from four years ago. I also received a a letter from the company showing it was paid in full. This is one less thing I have to worry about that I owed.

Received a blocked call with a message stating to call 855.328.8430 regarding legal documents bring prepared and hired to find me.  That if didn't return call would not have right to defend myself-Was also given a case number to reference.  I call back went straight to a voicemail with a computerized voice saying caller not available leave a message.  I did not leave a message as this seem right or legal. I googled the number and was led to this site

also, these people have been coming to my house or place of employment to serve me papers for almost a year. under different names and phone numbers. always the same threat. i'd love to get some paperwork on my "fraud" so i can contact the police as to who has been using my identity or whatever but they never show up and then stop calling for a couple of months, then it starts up again. almost always 3 messages per event but many many calls with no message.

i have been getting calls from these people for almost a year. the docket number they gave me is not even close to what any docket numbers are in courts. search some on your local city or state public records. every time i get a call they are a new company, person, phone #, docket # etc. this is fraud. i'm going to have to try to change my number and keep reporting to police.

They stuck their foot in it there. Simply contact your county clerk of court. You will quickly find out that there is no such Docket number & that the Docket number you were given is probably not even in the correct format. The frauds that try these scams are never very bright. They just hope that you're naïve & will fall for their BS.
If you take another one of their calls DEMAND a notice of validation be delivered to you by mail. NOT e-mail or fax. As per federal regulations under the FDCPA. Tell them that by law that they were to have supplied you with that notice of validation within 5 business days after their initial contact with you. Then...sit back & laugh at them as they desperately try to dream up excuses and other obviously bogus reasons why they haven't done that. They can be very entertaining. It's always a hoot as well when you tell them that all your calls are logged & recorded.
They'll probably stop calling you at that point. But they will sell your info. to the next idiot down the line. By recognizing the caller on your CID you can just answer the phone with the warning "all calls to this number may be recorded for quality purposes." Fraudsters hate hearing that. A legitimate debt collector hates knowing you're not stupid. A bogus one will be afraid he may end up on you-tube.
Be Safe. Be Aware.

APR and associates keeps calling telling me they are pressing charges against me and I will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.  They won't say what it is about just I better call or they will proceed with legal action. Gave me a Docket number too!!!

If the caller is legitimate, then you won't mind posting the company name, physical address, and what the business does.  Otherwise, you just come off as a pre-emptive shill.
