New number from the EXACT same people saying the EXACT same things...guess people were on to the other number so they had to change it. 855-429-4748. Spoke with Ben and Ron. Coincidentally they sounded like the same person. lol! I hate that they know my social and everything!! NOT COOL!!!

I had the exact same message listed below. It's a scam I also reported it to the local police. So disregard this message.

I got a call about a week ago claiming i took out a payday loan and charges would be filed on me with the local police if i didn't  pay $671...as a single mother that isn't  easy to come by...but jail isn't  an option...i didn't  think to use the web to search this number untill a call from a friend stating she got the call also...after reading this post i feel so stupid for sending the "hold" payment $200 so i wouldn't  go to jail...somebody plz catch these people who take food from families mouths

You can't stop them,  unless you get a call blocker. Just don't talk to them,  or even answer.   If your husband is worried,  all he has to do is advise his manager or supervisor of the scam situation.   Termination without cause is illegal.

They have been calling all day threatening myself about going to jail and calling local authorities to come pick me up. Said they would call my work but the funny thing is I don't work but they do have my husbands place of work. How do I stop these calls?

This called saying I had a law suite pending against a loan from United cash I never had a loan with this company then he started asking me if I had a loan with other cash advance places that had nothing to do with his department then i told him that ever since i signed up for stuff on line I keep getting calls from people from foreign countries,so when i asked for an email with all the details including proof of deposit receipts his company's information he said ok, ok we wont call you again. I told him I was going to report this number and hung up.

Elizabeth, on Friday I got the same calls.  These scam artists will try anything to make a buck.  I couldn't believe how many red flags they set off.  I handed it all over to LifeLock.

I received the exact same phone call from these no-parent-having people. However they called my cousin, thinking they were talking to me. They blurted out my address and once my cousin told them she wasn't me, they continued to now blurt out my SSN to her. After become rude and obnoxious with her, she hung up on them and called me right away. I called them to find out what was going on and received the same disrespect my cousin got. They told me if I didn't pay the money I owed, they will call national security to arrest me and put me in jail. I denied I never applied for a loan and the Indian screamed at me that I was lying and the government was going to lock me up. I said I wanted to speak to the supervisor; which he of course turned out to be. I asked when did I apply for this so-called loan, he pulled "2 months ago" out of his a**. I requested he email me a copy of my electronic signature and let me verify this. He claimed he didn't have it. So I said send me an official notice and you'll hear from my lawyer. As moronic as this guy sounded didn't bother me, but the fact that this guy has your SSN at all and then blurts it out to anyone that's not you, is serious. I signed up for Life Lock just to be safer. This United Cash Advance is BS..when my cousin and I spoke with him his name was "Donald" or something close to it. Then we called again, his name is now "Ben".

How do we get rid of these guys? anyone have suggestions?

Got a call from United Cash Advance.  Read from a script with very heavy accent, hard to understand and they were talking very fast.  Said I took out $300 payday loan January 2013.  When they went to take money back, came back NSF.  Told them I didn't take out payday loan.  If they had anything showing that I did, send to me.  Told me they were going to press charges for fraud and I could go to jail and lose my job.  Asked them when was court date so I and my attorneys could be ready.  Told them that my attorney would be contacting them to request any documentation they have regarding this loan.  Told me they hadn't filed yet, they wanted to settle. I asked for their address. Told me to go to hell, go to hell and hung up on me.  I called back and spoke to someone else.  Same thing, want to settle, not filed in court yet, why I borrow and don't pay back.  Hung up on me.  Called them back again and told them that I had the names of everyone I spoke with, address and phone number and I was filing charges and my attorney and someone from police/sherriff/fraud/fbi depts would be contacting them.

I have recieved calls nonstop all morning from this number. After asking them repeatedly what i need to do in order to resolve it also asked when the loan was taken out. They stated that it was 500.00 and but could fail to give me a date on when it was taken out. Supposedly now the cops are involved and on there way to arrest me? what is it that i should do?

Received multiple calls from "Agent Alex Turner" from "the legal dept" saying they needed to get info from me regarding legal action. Knew it was a scam, but they had ALL my info already! Who do I contact about that?

Called and said I have a pending law suite for 10000$ for a 500$ loan I never got. I want these people to leave me alone and stop calling my phone.

I just got a call back and asked If i had "a word" with someone earlier and what it was about.  I said that I told him I was going to contact my husband, who is a deputy with the sheriffs department, and get the "legal information". He got annoyed and said so you think this is a scam?!!!  I said that i had said no such thing, only that my husband was an investigator with the local police department and I would find out why I had not received papers yet and he miraculously had nothing else to say.

I had a phone call at work from this company and said there were legal charges for fraud, etc from a payday loan company and there was a law suit pending and had the sheriff's department contacted me yet.  I said no, but actually my husband is a deputy so I can just call him and get the information.  He acted non-challant at first and I let him go through his schpiel and then I said "well like I said, I will call my husband, he's actually working today at the sheriffs department and can get the information to me about the law suit very quickly." Then he said have a nice day and hung up the phone.  Rude foreigners...aggravate someone from your own country, we tend to have a little more common sense I suppose.

they called me and I was assertive demanding to know who they represent, what was the date of the so called loan, etc. and the response was f*** yo and a hang up. I called the number and played nice and told the person I was just cursed out, i got a different name from that person and then he explained I owe and would get criminal charges. when he asked did I want to resolve it or did I have an attorney I said, yes I am an attorney and now I have enough information to take you to court for attempting to get money from me fraudently

Got a call from this number on my way out the door. Caller claimed to be "Ben" from an unspecified legal department. (He sounded N. Indian/S. Pakistani) He verified my identity with my full name, employer, and full SSN. He said that there is a pending legal action against me and asked if I knew anything about it. Of course I didn't so I said "no." He asks if I've been contacted by my local police department and I said "no." Once again he asked if I had no knowledge of a pending legal action and again I said "no." He then gets his supervisor, "Mr. Johnson," (who miraculously was on the line in seconds and also had a Texas accent) and he also asks me if I have any knowledge of a pending legal action. After I told him I didn't, he starts telling me that I took a loan from a online loan company (he never mentioned a name) and that the money was posted to my account, and on the day the money was to be paid, my account had insufficient funds. He asked me "What happened? Did you just not have the money, which we understand, or did you just think that you could keep the money without paying it back?" I told him I have never applied for an online loan and if there is one in my name it's fraudulent. He then says something to the effect of "well, it's in your name tied to the information you verified so it is clearly you who took the loan. We sent you e-mails that the payment couldn't be completed and it looks like you just ignored them." I replied with "I haven't taken a loan from anyone nor received any emails, can you tell me via what email address you attempted to contact me?" Then Ben jumps back on the line and says something like "Do you want to go to court? Do you want to get subpoenaed? You want to get lawyers involved?" I told him "Yes! Go ahead! I know I can prove that I never applied, you never emailed me, and that none of my accounts received any money from anyone other than my employer." After I said this I heard Mr. Johnson hang up, then Ben told me "f*** you, motherf***er, f*** you!" so I hung up. They haven't called back since. Best advice based on others' experiences I've seen here is to confront them. They'll want to settle out-of-court with you on a lawsuit that will never happen based on fabricated circumstances. Once they see there's no chance getting money from you right then, they'll move on.

Just got a call from Shawn at that number.  Said he was from the Department of Investigation, I said "who"?  and he repeated the Department of Investigation.  I stated that "there is no such animal" and hung-up.  He called right back and asked me why I hanged up (sic) on him.  Told I wasn't interested in what he had to say and he said he was going to have the police come and arrest me.  I told him to go ahead.

You are correct.  They are in india.  They aren't a company though.  They are just sewer sucking lowlife scammers.

This company called my work phone stating the need 496 dollars or i will.go to court and jail.. They did not stop calling me. F****ng scam all the way..all there employers sound like there from India..do not fall for this

They gave been calling and never got a loan and when I asked them where was this check that was cashed supposedly they hung up.

I got a call from this number today. they told me a warrant was issued in my name and in the next 24-58 hrs police would be at my house to arrest me

I was called by this number saying many of the same things that were previously reported, they asked for my social. But some how they tapped into my phone and started harassing my mother, my brother, and employees as well.

They continue to call me. All day long! They ask for my 11yr old daughter! They leave threatening messages. I was like oh boy what did she do? But now I searched the number and found this, I know it is a scam! Thank you all for your posts!!

Man these are some busy little idiots that are not aware of American laws. No one in America gets arrested for a debt. This would be a civil matter. Yes this is a scam. For what it is worth, contact the Federal Communications Commission. Enough calls to the FCC will prompt an investigation. I received a call from these illiterates only 10 mins ago. Do not give these people any of your personal information.

I got a call from a man named Ben claiming to be from the legal department for US cash loan, while I have taken out payday loans before, I always pay them off on time, I though it could possibly be legit until he kept asking me to change my payment method, now he just keeps calling and calling saying if I don't make a payment I could face 2-5 years in jail for fraud, I called his bluff but he keeps calling, how do I get them to stop?

This person calling telling me saying the same thing asking for someone who doesn't even live here.. I hung up on him and they keep calling back.. over and over.. what do we do?
