Thanks for the Roses Mikey, but save some for yourself. And don't forget, your shilling and pandering also makes our lives fun and worth while. Nothing smells better than the of a smoked shill, in the morning....It smells like................victory..

Probably that "MR. MIKEY" fella. Did he say what he was going to serve up? BS? I don't think I'd eat in any restaurant that I had to wait 48 hours to be served.

Yes call blocking is great, and I encourage it for those who are getting these calls. I personally am not getting calls from these people, I just like to help keep others who are, and don't know what's going on, alerted to keep them from getting taken. There are others, who participate on this board, who are also "Call Free". Since there are so many people out there who are unknowledgable and being threatened and taken every day by the scammers, we just like to try to make it tougher for them to be scammed by alerting them to the possibility and to the scammer if so.

Who here has admitted oweing a debt? Just you (aka sara) Without validating proof, nobody owes anyone anything. All you've done is screw up your own Shilling attempts here. Anyone who reads this thread isn't going to be a good prospect for you. That's the most important thing.
ken 2012-11-06 20:51:36 Unknown
No body here has said that they owed an outstanding debt except you (sara).. Validate it buba. It's not a debt until you prove it.
Gunnar 2012-11-06 20:44:23 Unknown
If it was 'worth while' 'mike' you wouln't be here. You'd be doing your job with a legitimate firm and adhering to the laws governing the trade. Instead, here you are trying to defend your actions by implying that you're only doing your job. Those evil debtors are responsible for all of Americas woes aren't they 'mike'? Hah! How would you know? You're not interested in legitimate debtors. You can only feed on the people that you can convince owe you money. Tough job there huh 'mike'? People are getting tough to con these days aren't they 'mike'? You must be very busy making all that money from all those legitimate debtors. Yet here you are taking time off from your job to give out all that free advice. Very noble of you 'mike'. You've been very honorable 'mike', but I think you should get back to your duties. It's hard to make lease payments on a '75 Yugo when you don't keep your nose to the grindstone ain't it 'mike'? Maybe you deserve a raise. $7 an hour and 15% of the take just doesn't go as far as it used too does it 'mike'.
Bottom line 'mike'? Get off your swindling A** and get a real job or those dirty bill collectors are going to keep calling you! And their going to have you arrested...and they'll sue your social...and they'll harass your boss..and they'll call your grandmother at 5:00am and tell her that you have 3 charges of fraud against you..and the Federal Investigations Bureau is waiting outside your door...and your goat has AIDS now.
low life 2012-11-06 20:05:48 Unknown
low lifes ? :Low lifes are people who are to broke to pay their Bills big guy.
mike 2012-11-06 20:02:40 Unknown
You people lol smart enough to take money from someone...smart enough to find every way around NOT paying it back. DID YOU KNOW ...AND THIS IS A FACT...IF YOU NEVER GOT YOUR SELF IN DEBT by either taking money or services from someone or a company. THESE PEOPLE... DEBT COLLECTORS ....WOULD HAVE NO REASON TO BOTHER OR HARASS ANYONE OF YOU. THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE.
SO KEEP MAKING EXCUSES YOUR DEBTORS ARE GREAT AT IT OBVIOUSLY. YOUR STORIES AND EXCUSES MAKE DEBT COLLECTING WORTH WHILE.
Pay the bill do the right thing.com 2012-11-06 19:50:11 Unknown
Jeez maybe you should pay your bills big guy and no one would call you?? Who takes out payday loans anyway? Broke people !!!!
ken 2012-11-05 23:40:58 Unknown
Mike, I didn't see where max stated that the owed the debt....simply that some stranger has called him with some bahooie about needing statements and such. Perhaps, if you validate what ever it is that you are seeking, in writing and through the US Postal service, you might reach a more favorable conclusion instead threats over a telephone from a stranger....
Got Called 2012-11-05 20:46:34 Unknown
The person who called and left a message on my work VM was "John Adams" sounding all huffy and disgusted that he had to leave a message. Said he was with something ... Associates of Illinois. Left a docket number and said he was giving me 48 hours before I'm served.
Kyle 2012-11-02 15:54:46 Unknown
I will say one thing, and I mean no offense by it, but I would have never believed anyone could say so much and all in one single sentence. I'll bet you can't say all of that vocally without stopping to breath. Kudos Barbara! You put a smile on my face. Now, let's get serious. Yes indeed you do have the right to written validation of the Debt and their right to claim and collect. If they call you back, just tell them that you refuse to discuss anything with them until they have provided you complete information validating the debt, and all of the information as described by 'Alfalfa' in his earlier post. you will want to demand their actual local phone number, physcal and mailing address, names (if you can get them) and any and all other pertinent information that hold in reference to their claim as well as the name and address of the original owner of the debt. Including the dates that the debt was first established and the date of the last and final activity with account. Advise them that when you receive this written information that verifiably validates the debt, you will review it and let a civil attorney review it, and then you will make a decision whether or not to dispute the debt.
Goood Luck! And Barbara, breathe more while you type. :)

Well I got a call from the company at 545 this morning so I made a couple phone calls to t so I made a couple phone calls to some Better Business Bureau accredited collection agencies and they informed me that they had not heard of this company and most of them were like right down the street from the address listed on the website almost and they informed me to contact the Attorney General Amherst is basically located I was told that there is no information on this business and that the Attorney General um told me that they would not recommend me paying this and that Walmart should file a Form and write a complain about it and that if they called me back that I needed to tell them that by law I have a right to my information mailed out to me and that's what I would like

Good work 'not stupid'. Perhaps Sara (Mr. Mikey) would disagree with you since they are so "Righteous" about people following their lawful obligations, ha ha, but I applaud you for not letting the scammers win one. Good work and spread the word about them and their tactics.....

This "company" is a fraud, dont buy their threats!!
I have received a few calls from 855-342-9737 on my home phone and cell phone and most recent work phone.
A Mr. Dan Mason was calling from ADS about a old debt. He said TODAY was the last day to pay my balance or a Sheriff will be coming out to serve me a notice tomorrow. Mr. Mason providing me with a case number her in my county(fake) I told them I am not paying anything over the phone and if I allegedly owe this debt please send me something from your office on your letter head. Mr Mason said we sent you something to " blank blank" address..)The address he had was an address that was 6-7 years old.) I didnt provided him with a new address cause if he was a true debt collector he would of know my new address..I asked him to fax or email me a letter.
He said "well the attorneys are out of the office now, I'll have them email you something first thing in the morning, but if you are served by then dont bother to call us back"...So the next morning there was NO email in my inbox from them, and no sheriff at my door(duh).
Mr. Mason called me that day and left me a voice mail on my cell stating "he has updated info on my file and for me to call him"..I ignored his call. The following day he calls me at my office "stating he could not re-send any letter because there office already did"..I said "now how ridiculous does that sound, if you want to get paid dont you think you would provided me with what I need to pay you" he got all defensive then I started questioning him..I asked him the full name of his company, what these "attorneys" names are, and if they had a website, he hung up on me. I checked the address he gave me and it was to a UPS store in New York, there is no website. I haven't heard back from him again.
In my state a debt collector has 4 years to collect a debt after that its past the statue of limitations. Where its considered "written off"..Some company's buy old accounts and use scare tactics to get you to pay..
A sheriff doesn't have time to come to my home/work to serve me a piece of paper..get real!
People do your homework before making a payment to anyone. Its not hard to get your personal info. And people/companies will try any tactic to get you to pay them.

You are correct 'Just John' It can be surprising and discouraging to know just who has personal information on you and earns extra income from selling it. Did you know that even your Bank does it? Magazine subscription companies, Insurance companies (Auto, medical, life ins.) ,major retail stores, all loan companies especially the so called 'payday" loan companies, and for gosh sakes EVEN CABLE TV AND THE TELEPHONE COMPANIES!!. Virtually every business that you have done business with will sell your soul to the devil for a six pence. Debt collections is a very profitable business. There is a lot of money in scaring people into paying money for debts that they do not legitimately owe or are legally uncollectable. For the right people, who have the cajones to use illegal, deceptive and even terror tactics of jail time, there is a tremendous amount of profit available in Zombie Debts. Written off debts, out of SOL and time barred debts etc. They pay pennies on the dollar for high profit potential collection opportunities. There is an organization lurking about called "ScamBaiters" who provides an invaluable service to People who may be ripe for scamming. They help keep the Honest debt collectors, and there are many, .......honest. And Those who are scammers love them.
Keep your powder dry.....and smoke em if you got em
bill 2012-10-11 13:34:54 Unknown

Got a call from one supposed "Tod Williams" of ADS & Associates at 855-342-9737 x-317 regarding case #125647 yesterday afternoon - wasn't in at the time so they left a message. Lots of vague stuff about court and 72 hours to reply, with only a name and incorrect age as solid data. Suspected this was a scam, and looks like I'm right - these folks are apparently well-known around the interwebs. And after reading these forums I know why they picked my name, too - applied for a loan as a cosigner a couple of months ago on behalf of the person they named on the phone. Looks like someone in the loan department is willing to share information... There is no outstanding debt here, just scammers looking to scare money out of people.
sara miller 2012-10-10 16:09:07 Unknown
their tactics may not go over well with everyone, they really pissed me off but unfortunately this was a debt that i owed. since their attournys have rights over the debt now they actually can pursue in court. if you took out the loan its only right that its paid back but people dont have to be so rude and demanding. being rude is one thing but its not a scam when its something that you really owe
