They called me few times in a week..... and tgey also leave a msg..... the msg is kinda weird to me

Received several calls from this number so I finally answered and listened to what they had to say. They said I won free financial aid, but THEY KNOW WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT ME! They knew my name, phone #, address, and email. Finally went online to discover this forum.

These people know way too much about me, I don't understand where they got my number from but they keep saying that they have free scholarships. I knew they were full of crap when they said that FAFSA is not a free service. I looked up the website they provided, it is a website out of India. The number is for Cogeco cable. When I called the guy out about it being a scam he said he would program my number for a call back every 5 minutes because he likes the way I sound.

I have received the same calls as above - but the guy also curses and swears at me, or tells me he wants to keep calling me 'because i sound so sexy'. Um creepy?

THis can't be legal, right? To whom can this kind of call be reported?

My wife's been getting calls from this number sometimes  they say there a cable company other time they don't say anything she's on the phone right now trying to get that number blocked .

People from this number - (855) 364-8952 - have called me numerous times, to the extent that it was verging on harassment. The first two times I answered I was offered a free scholarship and then a government grant, and both times told the callers to stop contacting me. I have blocked the number, now, since I have been called repeatedly after telling them to leave me alone (I should have done this to begin with), but am sharing my experience with others so they will be wary of whatever ridiculous scam is being implemented via this number.

i just finished talking to this indian guy, saying i got a free scholarship and what not. ahhahaha they kept calling me and i kept ignoring this call. after the millionth call i decided to google the number and found this page. Next time they called (with a free scholarship and finanial aid) i gave all false information only because i didnt have the heart to be rude and hang up. :D

I just got a call from an Indian fellow named Victor who stated that my number randomly came up and I won free financially aid, then went on to give me my name and number and ask if it was correct. I asked who he was with and he stated Education Help. I do not recall applying to this. He stated I needed to speak with his supervisor, I tell him I can't at the moment as I have a meeting (& I am concerned about this spam) he states he will call back in an hour. My meeting is delayed so I call the number back and it's for cogeco cable not Education Help. Spam A**les!

Someone just called me from this number and asked for me personally. When I asked why and who was this she said I have received a scholarship, didn't say who she was. Really, at 6:30 at night. Not only am I not interested in going to school but I didn't apply for any scholarship. I new right away it was junk. Why don't these da*n people get a real job. Don't they have anything better to do?

This number called, I picked up and no one talked. I want the 3 minutes of my life back! How is this legal???!

This phone number came up on my phone 3 times. The last call I answered it. The lady asked for my husband by name. She said she owed my him 100 dollars. When I asked who is this, she said her name was Gabby. I asked Gabby why she owes my husband 100 dollars,  she hung up. They will try anything to get information from you for a dime. Do not answer any unknown phone numbers. Now I know why they never left a message.

Called saying I would get a free scholarship and financial aid. I said no thanks and hung up. Don't fall for it.

They won't stop calling.. Indian accent...  I blocked caller... Do not give them the time of day... Scam

Offered free scholarship. VERY persistent. Asked A LOT of information and oral communication was not understandable. Be careful with this caller.

Cogeco cable

Yes got a call from this number said I could receive free money ha ha ha lol free money get a life man and get a real job us working class Americans would love to put a stop to this scam crap on the  phone lines and computer systems I am so fed up with these calls to all be careful because there are so many people out there just waiting and targeting people all the modern devises are great when used properly let's all pray maybe some day these people will be caught and pay a huge price

Spam.  No msg.  I only get these kind of calls on my Tracphone.

Just got another call from this number and answered.  Some guy with an accent (not sure which one but it sounded Indian) said I qualified for a free scholarship.  I said thanks but no thanks and hung up.  Calling back again it went to Cogeco cable.  Such a scam.

Have gotten 3 calls in 3 days from this number.  I never hear or catch the call, but I called them back and it says it is Cogeco cable.  This is a cable company in Canada.  I have no idea why they are calling but I am nowhere near Canada so I don't know why the are calling.
