I was just called as well and the gentleman said he was calling on behalf of Allstate and they recently reduced rates in NC and wanted to know if I was interrested in a quick quote.  Sounded very nervous, unprofessional, unsure of himself, and definitely not in the insurance business.  I immediately told him I was not in the market for new insurance and asked how he got my info -- followed by a very quick "have a nice day" and hang up click. :-)

Male voice called my cell just now and asked to speak with 'William' claiming he was from Allstate.  Insurance rates had recently been reduced (can't remember if he actually identified my state) and wanted to know if I wanted to hear more about it.  I said, 'No thank you.'   He said alright, thank you, and quickly hung up.  Then I Googled the number.

Keep an eye on your phone bill and credit card accounts.

This is CBN - Consumer Benefits Network. I'm not sure how they got my info; thinking some other on-line shop sold it to them. http://consumerbenefitsnetwork.com/. They charged my card $24.95 and I called them and was finally able to reach them. They gave me the whole scoop on their company and the discounts. Couldn't tell me exactly how they were able to charge my card. Told them I wasn't interested and they said they would issue credit for the charge that I should receive in 3 business days. I will report back what I find.

Got a suspicious debit card charge for $139.00 - the bank is dealing with it. The number has an answer message but does not say who they are. These people are wasting their lives. Such a shame.

thay have goot me today is august 29 2013 they have used my credit making false fraudulent accounts on my name and charged me 150.00 on my visa card i have desputed it and closed down my accounts lock them up with identiy guard and more these people r no joke stay far away from them never tell them a work.... hang up on them immediately i have launch a full investigation

You are correct, they called me to verify my address and the next thing I know I had a text from my credit card company saying they had billed me 24.95. Please pass this on to evryone you know, give them no info at all!!!!!

These guys know too much and are using illegal personal info to charge bogus bills on peoples account!!!!
