Larry Fuller called my job. I instantly hung up when he began screaming at me. He called back to my work and told my boss that Sherrif's were coming to pick me up at work to "process me". I have asked repeatedly for them to not call me at work, it only seems to make them do it more. I have enough issues of my own at work, I don't need any help in getting fired.

How does anyone who takes out a loan forget about it? I don't understand. I remember every debt I have created because I believe that ones credit represents his/her honor and respectability. If you admittedly created this debt then you should have to pay it back. I'm not seeing the court and fraud thing, but regardless, you certainly should pay what you legitimately owe. However, you situation is in no way similar or applicable to those who have posted here in they did not take out any loans or receive any funds.
Therefore, as far as these people are concerned, your point is moot.

I just got a voice message from someone from the this company. After calling back, they're talking taking me to court for "fraud" because I didn't pay back the loan. I totally forgot about the loan since it was in January 2012 when I received the funds.

Betsy, Sir B is absolutely correct. It is indeed a scam. If you ask them to validate the alleged debt in writing and Mr. Eric Schroeder said "No", that just means that he doesn't have it and is depending on you to pay him out of fear of arrest. Sir Bedevere and your local Sheriff has said it, and I too must agree.
Don't believe the SHill on this thread. Listen to what the Sheriff's said...

Thank you for the advice, the civil office of the sheriff's department said the same thing and said that they have no one by the name of Larry Fuller that works for them. The problem is when I asked for the validation Eric Schroeder told me that they only send paid in full letters and one other thing that had nothing to do with debt validation.
| Sir Bedevere 2013-02-21 21:02:33 Unknown |
You are a liar and a shill working for the scammers behind this scheme. You aren't fooling anyone so go away.
| Sir Bedevere 2013-02-21 21:02:02 Unknown |
This is an all too common scam these days, but you can be assured it *is* a scam. No one who is really going to sue you would ever call you in advance to notify you about serving papers! The object of serving papers is to surprise the recipient so they can't dodge the server.
Any real debt must be validated *In writing*. This is the law. If you hear from these con artists again you should insist that they do so or they can face changes for violating federal law. You shouls record the call if you can. You should tell them the call is being recorded even if it isn't :)

I have no clue what this even is and I talked to Ontario County Clerk and the Sheriff's department and I have to file a police report and when you google Larry Fuller Process Server it comes up with a whole bunch of people who have had this same thing happen. I've spoken with my attorney and have since cancelled my debit card info, credit cards and put a fraud alert on my credit reports.

I got a call from Larry Fuller said he worked for Ontario County and would be sending someone to my place of employment to serve me papers but he told me to call 855-376-0214 to get a release of order form. So I called and spoke with Eric Schroeder at ext 440 who states he's with Landmark who says I have a 2 open payday loans (4 pending charges). He was very rude especially after I told him I've never in my entire life had payday loans. They have all my info correct except the last 4 digits of my social. This Eric Schroeder scared me so bad about being arrested and thrown in jail that I caved and set up a payment plan even though I have no idea what this is. Please I need some advice on what to do next?
