I just called this pesky number today and it was Time Warner. I told them we were on the do not call list and to please respect that fact. They guy on the other end was, surprisingly, very corteous.

It was time warner cable customer service. It is not billing or collections.

I received a call from this number this morning. 855-382-4760.
It was time warner cable asking me if I was authorized to make decisions on the account. It is in my husbands name so I told her I would rather she talk to him since I just woke up and did not feel like listening.
They are probably trying to up sell some package. Our bill is always paid on time so it is not billing or collections. Hope this helps.

CALLER ID SAID SAT.COM COULD NOT FIND anything listed by that name.
If i do not know the number or name i do not pick up.
no message was left.
I keep doing the Do not call thing I don't think they can keep up with the trash phone calls.
One weekend I had the same caller call every 10 min. I turned my phone off. I was ready to shoot the phone .

I was surprised to see most of the posts were made in 2011 about the number in question.
Jump ahead to Oct. 19 2013 calls are still being made from the number.
I am unable to help with identifying who the caller might be. My caller ID showed TOLL FREE CALLER
followed by the number.
I wasn't in the house when the call came in and I don't use an answering machine any longer.
Some of the above posters indicate the caller is 'BRIGHTHOUSE', A company I've never heard of before.

Caller ID says "800 SERVICE."
We are on the state and federal do-not-call lists.
