I received five calls from this number today alone. I never even had a student loan. I finally blocked the number!

No caller ID so didn't answer. Left no message. I'm not calling them.

it is student outreach solutions. they are not a debt collection agency. they are a third party that is hired on behalf of the school one attended. they do not collect money what so ever. they assist borrowers with forbearances, deferments, and long term solutions when borrowers arent able to pay their lender. student outreach solutions only handles borrowers with federal student loans. it has nothing to do with any monies owed to the school nor the degree status. they try to prevent a borrower from defaulting. they arent the bad guys.... i assure you.

I just got a call from this number and I would like to know how the hell they got my cell phone number I payed all my debt already about 2 yr.. ago. I change my number for a reason so I wouldn't get these calls and not only that my phone is pre-paid.

These ppl called me on my home about a person i am friends with on Facebook. I have ties to the individual except we are friends on Facebook. I knew her as a child well a very little about her as an adult. I think it is poor judgement for a company to stalk ones social pages and solicit their friends for informatoin.

I got a call from someone who spoke so fast that I barely understood that he was looking for me from Ashford University. I have never attended Ashford University and don't know or care where they are located.

Alleged to be calling on behalf of my old university for a past balance; interestingly I've been awarded my degree from this university, which isn't award unless all balances are paid first. I've contacted the school directly and confirmed I am paid in full.
Beware, these are "third party" debt collectors who bid on old accounts and attempt to collect without regard for whether the bill is valid or not, probably attempting to cash in on the student loan debt crises. Even if you did business with them, somehow I doubt your original balance would change any.

Just received a call for them asking for my ex-wife, whom I have been divorced from for nearly 12 years. When asked how they got the number, they just said it was listed as a contact number. Nice to know that my ex is still using my info for whatever purpose. Time to go back to court and have them settle this.

Adam from "Student Solutions," for Ashford University, at least according to the VM they left me.
