Just as a reference point: I've had to bar all Suddenlink IP addresses from connecting to my web site because of the amount of spam and hacking attempts originating there.

Suddlenlink, huh?  Just hooked up this phone with Frontier Communications yesterday (have had internet with them over a year) but don't actually have a phone just a fax machine so to be ornery I hit "accept" on the fax so they'd get the fax tone. haha.  Anyway, I then called the number 855-399-0407 from my cell phone (blocking my number) and sure enough, it was Suddenlink. He asked if he was speaking to a current account holder. I told him no and that I had just hooked up the phone yesterday and wondered how they got my number. He said if it's a new number, I need to tell my provider I don't want telemarker calls and they'll block it.  Not sure how accurate his information is, but he was very nice and didn't try to sell me anything. (just for fun, I'll call Frontier and see if he's correct, but I guess I also need to signed up wtih the Do Not Call list...crap, forgot about all that.  Haven't had a landline since 2004)

Suddenlink sales. Aggressive telephone marketing campaign. I can't wait to get rid of these guys.
