they cant serve you, Ive been threatened 30+ times. going to get me at work, going to get me at home, going to serve my mother in law..... just BS Sean MCcarthy or whatever he goes by is a crook don't fall for it.

they have changed their  name to AAPA American asset protection association .... just so everyone knows, they cant serve you and will not, they only threaten nobody is ever going to serve you with  papers, I ve had this threat at least 35 times and not once did they show and I'm pretty sure they cant. a payday loan is just that .. .a loan and if you default, they have no recourse but to try and bully you into giving them the money. I;m pretty sure that they are a company that buys up payday loans for pennies on the dollar hoping to get you to pay the full amount plus the interest. anyway I would and have told them to go to hell but I still get the calls.

These people called me and all my in laws ...I fell for it and have paid them $200 so far ...they recorded my call ...I took a payday loan out 2 years ago I knew I paid it back . I agreed to pay ..what do I do now ? They want $150 more . I need advice asap

Just called these chumps and told them I let everyone know how to deal with them,  I can even track their numbers and call centers to their source and I will be sure to link and post them for everyone to see.  I am looking forward to their calls in the future .  Make sure you record them when they call and keep a record of each time.

Here we go again.    Got this call from these dips and threats yada, yada , yada.  Last year I got an attorney for a similar incident sued and won.  As a matter of fact these people are open game for the fair debt collectors act.  Get an attorney at no cost to you and sue them.  I got $750.00 the attorney got $2500.00 .  Look up Lemburg Law or find one on your own.  I hope these goofs keep calling ,   I need a Christmas bonus.   Oh.  please contact the Federal Trade Commission and your state attorney.  There is also a new federal organization that handles this stuff.  BBB can do nothing but the Fed and your own attorney will.

how did you get the information to report them? they have been blowing up my job's phone and refuse to leave information. all i have is a phone number and i barely obtained that...

These people have called a few times, I finally called the plaintiff and was going to set something up with them thinking i did something wrong... but after checking into it, im not i was soposed to get emailed paperwork and I have gotten nothing so far....Sean McCarthy doesnt leave me any number to call to reach him.... I reported it the BBB and if they continue to call i will contact the local police department....

These scumbags have been calling me constantly and now they are harassing my co-workers. Some girl named Ashley keeps leaving me messages saying I will be charged with check fraud for something I know nothing about and that if i don't pay up immediately, she will be forced to find me and serve me with summons... I laughed and hung up thinking it was some kind of sick joke but when co-workers kept calling and telling me they were getting harassing phone calls about me from this stupid weirdo, I freaked out. I need to put a stop to these calls now. What do i do? I'm in NJ. how do i report them? should i answer their call and cuss them out?

Received a very similar call from a Sean Weber on 07/20 saying that my ex-husband (who hasn't lived at this address for the last 9 years) has one opportunity to contact the plaintiff to resolve this matter voluntarily.  Sean also listed a case number.  Then at the end of the message he repeated my ex's name and said that "You have officially been notified"... Que the scary music...Odd also that my parents said they received a call from someone looking for my ex last week regarding a bounced check...they did not have very many details but probably from the same yahoo Sean Weber.

If we can some way get their address or have the bank trace a payment someone has made we can find this jokers and file suit against them.
If anyone on here has made a payment contact you bank and have them trace were/who the funds are going to and have the police department work on it too.
With any luck someone will get this group! Let us know if anyone gains any ground on this. I haven't been served but I am sure they will keep calling.

Well this number has called me again, and again and again!!!  I have saved every nasty message they have left (I have NEVER answered any of their calls) and proof of everytime they have called me!!  They have even called my mother and left threatening messages with her!!!  The guy calling me is Shawn Weber!!  I too, will now copy all of these complaints, and file complaints with all of the offices I need to!!!  This is ludicrous!!!

The same thing happened to me yesterday!  A guy named Sean McCarthy called everyone i know..even my friends mother (not sure how he got her number) telling her that he was with the sheriff dept and that they have a warrant out for my arrest!  I believe this violates so many of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act!  I also beleive its illegal to portray yourself as law enforcement when youre not!  I even spoke to Sean myself and he wouldnt provide me any of his contact information such as his phone number or what county he was calling from!  All he could tell me is that he was from the state that i was in..  He also told he me he had no idea what this was for, and to call the plaintiff for details, but seemed to be able to tell my family and friend all sorts of different reasons as to why they were looking for me!

This company called me, my mother in law and my sister, with a nasty msg that says "you have officially been served" I was completely freaked out. So when i asked the guy what this wad about, he said I took put a loan from a company called "mycashnow". They said of I didn't do anything by today they would serve papers for court and charge me with fraud. So I called my local sheriff's office and its a scam. I am a criminal justice student and was worried about my career future! After reading these reviews, I feel better. I got the same extension, name, and details as some of the other reviews! Be careful.

The are the RTH Group aka RH Group pretending to be Arbitrators not Collectors. File your complaints like I just did with  AG of WA and FL as well as your local police department, DOR, FTC, and the BBB in WA.

Fake process server contacted me at work first speaking to the receptionist asking how we handled summons severing. I took the call and women said she had a summons to serve to me at work, home or other location. If I want to try and work something out to call the "arbitration" RTH group handling my file and she would follow up in an hour if she didn't hear from them. Called the number answered by Jaime D. said I owned My Cash Now for a pay day loan in May 2011 for "probably $500" she couldn't say the exact amount but now I owe $1140. If I did not pay they would charge me for check fraud and failure to pay. I had to pay only by credit card/debit card not money order. I didn't have time to waste and if I didn't set up a arrangement they would move forward with legal action and I would be served that day or the next. They verified all my information with me however they didn't give me any information on their group other than they work for My Cash Now and couldn't give me their address because they were protecting their employees. I got scared and agreed to pay $100 on my next pay and 6 payments of $173.33 to follow. The next day I started researching and found no verifiable information on them in with the AG, DOL, DOR of WA or the BBB. I also did not find any court claims in the tri-county area of FL.
 
I called back to dispute the claim and demanded proof in writing and that they have the right to "arbitrate".  Mind you they are collecting not arbitrating however they insist they are an arbitration group. Jaime D. transferred me to Chris Daly the case manager. I asked for a correspondence address and they refused saying they would only disclose that after the 1st payment was made via email. After pressing I was finally given their fax number to send correspondence to however that did not work when I tested the number later that day. They said I owed the money and I agreed to pay if I didn't I would be charge with fees for failure to pay them. I then asked for their business license number and again was refused. I asked what RTH Group stood for and he said he did not know. I told him they had my address and all my personal information and if truly owed the money I would pay it only after seeing proof of the claim. If they provided me the information I would pay otherwise go ahead a serve me. I called my bank and cancelled my debit card and alert them of the situation. Mr. Daly had nothing to say and hung up the phone.

It is the next day and I have not heard from him yet. I have complaints with the AG of WA and FL as well as my local police department, DOR, FTC, and the BBB and any other department needed. I have also alerting my credit bureau of the matter to protect my identity. Go ahead and serve me RTH I ready!

Ok - so call #2 from these idiots.  This time they accosted my 15 year old daughter - they are looking for a relative that has never lived at my address nor used my number.  They told my kid that they were going to send the Sheriff out if this person did not reply - very threatening.  I had called after the last nasty voice mail and spoke to someone who told me they would remove my number from it's association with this person.  Guess that didn't happen - if they hadn't upset my kid and been totally rude to her it would be laughable.  They present themselves as representing the court and are serving due process.  Who do I report these harrassing calls to???  I can't block the calls because they call from a "private number".  If anyone knows who I should contact to complain I would appreciate the info.  I don't even know the company name - when you call it sounds like IRH Group - but it is very muffled.  MAKE IT STOP!!!

have received multiple harrassing calls.  Have reported them and have stated to them directly to not contact me.  Calling numerous people. Some with having no relationship at all with.  This has got to stop

Got a "frightening" call from this number!  Said they received a "summons" via fax and I had one opportunity to call and get this taken care of!!!  Until I finished listening to the message....I didn't realize it was a SCAM!!!!  How dare they do this!!!  I looked up the number and found this phone log...I then called back and told them to never ever call me again and if they did I would report it to the police!!!

These nasty people left a message on my machine sounding like the court system - the call was for a relative that does not live with me - they stated he had one chance to clear up the "citation" and ended with "you have been officially served".  No court system serves due process over the phone.  This is a scam for sure.  I am calling them back tomorrow and telling them that I don't know who they are asking for but they cannot call me again.
