They've been calling me at work and on my cell phone and they kinda stop but then again I got a call this morning! It sucks coz its been going on for years! Its really annoying!!!

I recieved calls from this number( norman cooper) on my cell and at my work place....harrasing me after i tell him i have NEVER TOOK out a cash advance calling me names and so on....I did report it to my local sherrif but unfortunetly they can't do anything....they are now calling me from at least 2 other numbers as well. Good grief!! He says he is from a criminal investagation company trying to retrieve there 15, 000 I took out in cash advances.....hahahaha I woukdnt beable to get a 1.00 let alone 15, 000!

ive been getting an indian calling me saying the same thing but now he is useing different names, and different lawfirms, now threatening me that there is a warrent and i can go to jail. i told them to send me something in mail they hung up.

A neil waltsin is what it sound like. People been callng all day saying im approved for a $5000 loan i hang up on them the weird numbers. Now this guy calls saying there taking  legal action because i am being sued for not paying a $5000 loan.  Calling me over and over in a row so i blocked the number but still calls and i get the voicemail.  He wants me to give hm my information to my account to pay money all they have ismy last four ssn. So never give any information over the phone. If it is real they can fax you information rhis person couldnt even do that.

HAS CALLED MY JOB OVER 50 TIMES AND SPEAKS HORRIBLE AND DEGRADING TO ME AND WILL NOT STOP CALLING.

I keep getting these calls as well.  I have spoken to this person and they won't tell me anything other then I will end up in jail.  They have stressed me out so bad that I ended up in the hospital with anxiety attacks.   Finally I goggled the number and found this post.  I have never been treated like this before and the person was so rude to me and just kept telling me how I broke the law.  I work in a fraud prevention team and deal with people that have been frauded every day my heart goes out to each and every person and now I can honestly say I understand how they must be feeling.  Very rude and can hardly understand what they are saying half the time! I will be so glad when these phone calls stop because I can not take it much more!

Good Day, I have been getting phone calls for the last two days concerning illegal activities on my checking account from someone who seems to be Indian in nature but goes by the name "Steven Williams".  For the last couple of days this person has been threatening me with legal actions and demanding to speak to my lawyer and just this morning this person spoke very rudely to my nephew.  At this time the number was "blocked".  I have also called my bank to ensure that my banking information was not compromised in any way.  This person did not leave a name of the company in which they belong.   I would like for whoever is behind these call be made accountable for their actions as soon as possible.

They called me about 20 times in less than 10 minutes because the first time I answered I told them to mail me the information like any other reputable company would & not to call again that I would contact them.  Apparently, they didn't like that answer because they kept calling my cell phone & work phone, even after I told them I work for the state attorney & they are harrassing the state attorney's office!  I even answered the phone state attorney's office (I really do work for them).  They claim to be from US Cash who represents over 20 different payday loan companies.  They were relentless, my cell phone & 2 lines on my work phone calling all at the same time.  They claim to have tried to email me the information & mail it to my house, but I never received anything other than these phone calls.  They are claiming I owe some payday loan company $5000 & they are going to jeopardize my job for failure to pay.  I think I would have noticed an extra $5000 in my account!  If you ask for the supervisor, he is even more rude than the original person who calls.  I think I am going to try to report them as Tamianth suggeted, or just talk to my boss!   Hopefully, if they get reported enough they will get shut down & quit harrassing hard working people.

This person (and I use that loosely) has been calling our office ALL DAY! Sometimes calling in on multiple lines at once.  Used 10 different calling numbers.  We have contacted homeland security.  Asked him why he keeps calling if he knows he won't be talking to who he asked for.  I think a little crazy.

This person with an Indian Accent keeps calling our office wanted to talk to a worker. When I tell him its against the law to provide him with any details on then employee, he gets upset and wants to talk to a supervisor. when I tel him that I am the supervisor he hangs up.

I did apply for a loan online but never took it. This guy called my cell and then called me on my work phone until I left it off the hook. He was very rude and demanded my boss but I know who I owe money to and dont and its not that easy to get over on me.

Have received several calls from the 855 # and also a different one. Same 'indian' accent and very short and curse with me. They gave me MY info including last 4 ss# digits and proceeded to threaten me with criminal charges for an outstanding bill to a United Cash Advance and they were representing them. My husband called them back, they ended up hanging up on him, then called back a few minutes later and proceeded to threaten both of us! This went on for over 8 minutes...the best part was when the guy with the 'indian' accent told my AMERICAN born and raised husband to leave HIS country!!!  Haha. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Got a call at the office from them today looking for someone who doesn't even work here.  Said his name was Dan Richards.  Said he would shut the company down if we didn't put the person on the phone.  Told them that the person did not work here, and he called me a liar.  I hung up, and he called back and unleashed a flood of rude comments and threated to have the Federal Authorities arrest me today.

I got the call from 855-429-4748 at my work place today (10-25-13). He claimed his name was Daniel Smith. When I started asking more questions, he called me criminal and threaten that I would get arrested today!

I started getting phone calls from a Norman Cooper on Oct. 21 He had indian  accent. He calls several times a day for my husband He is very rude. I know we don't have any cash advances out. How do we get this to stop?

I started getting calls yesterday 10/22/13 the guy cussed me out when i mentioned my lawyer they hung up on me they called back today 10 times says his name is Norman cooper I reported the calls but they still keep doing it they do spound indian and are very abusive but wont tell me why they are calling or what itd about one time i called and ssked who tjry are I asked what country thier company is for and they said why did I ask that i think i scared him bc he told me to f off lol

Receiving multiple calls from and Indian person making threats and are very rude. Started yesterday 10/21/2013. Do not have any loans. Have asked for loaning company name and number so I could call them directly and will not give me an answer. Have my work number/cell number and last four of my social. have called the 202 number above and will be reporting to the FBI.gov website too.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

this number has been calling me constantly and leaving messages. Every time it sounds like someone from India. When I finally decided to answer it one day, they told me that I applied for some loan and they deposited money in my account and now I'm being sued for not paying it back for 10-15thousand dollars and up to 2 years in jail. I kinda laughed because it sounded ridiculous!! I'm sure I would know if someone deposited extra money in my account. When I laughed, the line mysteriously disc. Gotta be a scam!!!

Me too, and my legal representative tried to talk to them and they refused to speak to him. From what I found out they are scammers who use an account now debit card and try to scare you into paying them to avoid the  so called "legal matter". Also from what I found out Michael Carter is due to be tried and his account now card has been frozen.

I have been getting a call from a guy who sounds Indian. Says his name is Carter Wilson. Yeah right. Tells me this is a legal matter, but I have been getting calls like that for over three years from guys with accents like his. Ends the call by telling me to call him right now.
