These idiots call my home several times a day...EVERY day! The caller ID says "arthritis". Funny how other posters have named so many other things as being the "reason" for the call huh?  Criminals and scammers. Period. Ignore them completely. Report them definitely.

Scam artist calling from a boiler room operation.  Purporting to sell oil/gas investments. A guaranteed ripoff with a grossly exaggerated southern drawl.

Based on comments I've seen, the current scam changes regularly.

my number is on the Do Not Call Registry, but I got calls from 885-445-0082 anyway

tried to file a complaint, but was told that 885-445-0082 was not banned from calling me

"The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors."

the NDNCR then SELLS it's list to pols/charities/surveyors.

So, how do we complain that this marketing firm is fraudulently claiming to be a pol/charity/surveyor?

You don't suppose people at the FTC, or pols on the telecom committee, own stock in this company, or others like it?

THIS GUY HAS CALLED 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES WILL NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER.. SAID HE IS FROM 'GRAYSTONE' CALLING ABOUT TAX BREAKS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES......

I got a call from this # and already suspected it was a telemarketer from the 800 Service on the caller id. I answered and they asked if this was First Name, Last Name. well anyone who does this is a telemarketer. Nobody I deal with as a salesperson or a vendor uses my last name. So I asked if this was telemarketer because I take incoming phone sales calls all day and taking non sales calls costs me money and it pisses me off. Well this guy asks me what makes me think he as a damn telemarketer so i told him he called me by my last name. Well this apparently sent him in a rage for some reason I guess because I was right and he went on a tirade about how he makes 100K a year and he didn't need my damned business. Making 100K a year by being a total a**le and scamming people and wasting their time isn't anything to be proud of. I'm sure heroin dealers make 100k a year too. Hope they choke on the phone so they can't annoy anyone else.

Yeah u do the same thing a telemarketing does except instead of making calls and missing people off. U take calls and pies people off, not much of a difference huh? But I'm not a telemarketing so I could care less I work at a welding shop and answer my own phone and make plenty of money. I'm just sayin

7-15-11 - said his name was Richard Morgan, he was with Greystone, wanted to introduce his business to X(business owner).  When I said I was X's wife, we owned the business together, how could I help him, he refused to say what his business did, said he would need to talk to X....not happy when I said he would never talk to X unless he could share what it was about.  Caller ID showed "800 Service".

This number, 855-445-0082, just called our home office.  I answered and pressed the mute button simultaneaously and this is what the "gentleman" said (in a sing song voice) "Get out the way, Get out the way, woah bi--ch, get out the way" then he hung up.

Now I really don't care who the company is, BUT they are paying someone that would act like that!  Trashy folks if you ask me.

This number called before 9 am when our business openeds up.  Never leaves a message.

We received this call on our company line and the man asked for the owner, when told he was not in, he said he would call back, I said he does not work inside the office and is out all day, could I help (co-owner) and he said no! it ends here and hung up on me......

Got a call from this number, asked for my boss by name.  Told me it was regarding a personal tax matter.  Wouldn't give his name nor the name of his company.

This company is advertising a job listing in Kentucky for a marketing agent with a good phone voice. They must want somebody to sell this scam to the public.

Got a call from this #.  She asked for my boss by his formal name, yellow flag there.  I asked who was calling, got the response of "Graystone".  I just responded to put us on their do not call list.  She stated they were not selling anything, but all right, she will note it.  I hate telemarketers.  I know it is a job, but come on people, stop harrassing us.

We got a call at our home from these people.  They say they want to discuss tax information.  When pushed they will say they are from Graystone.  Probably get their numbers from lists sold out of sites/companies we have dealt with.  Seem shady.

I got the same call today, March 22nd 2011 @10:50 am.

A man called asking for my boss also.  He wouldn't give me a message, but said he would call back later.  I asked him what it was in reference to, and he said it was some tax saving information my boss had called about before.  He said his company is Graystone.  SALES CALL

I asked the guy who called me and it turns out they provide marketing for different companies. I asked them not to call me anymore and they haven't.  The guy I talked to was pretty nice.

This number calls the office I work at numerous times each day.  They will never leave a message.. and also say there are going to call the "persons" cell phone.  Which is a bluff because they never do call his cell phone.. and Im positive they do not have his cell phone.   This is really annoying and this number needs to be reported!

This person calls and asks for employee in company.  She will not leave her name or business name.  Say's she'll call back later.
