You are a nut job. It's just an ADT dealer cold calling people to look for buyers.

The caller is SecurAssure ADT.  If you want the calls to stop, please contact ADT directly and complain!
There is NO reason for these calls especially if you already have an ADT Security system.

ADT will put yourself on a DO NOT CALL list which will help ensure that ADT and its distributors will not call you.

If this does not work, write a letter to the President of TYCO (which owns ADT) and complain.

This # is calling me at least 6 times a day. I just don't answer it but would love for the phone to stop ringing

So they gave me a return calling number of 1 855 505 8080, it was a bogus number. I don't know how they did it because I have an unlisted number. And I don't give out my number to any one, so it's an auto dialer.. #1, #2 consecutively. That's all. Therefore.. There damn telemarketers!!!!!!!

just received a 1-855-461-1009 call, say 'hello' once no answer then hang up. Good suggestion is to enter number on 'block call' list.

I keep getting this call from this phone number, 855-461-1009, i know it is a scam, and i am getting fed up of them calling my phone number.

When I answered they hanged up. I put the phone number in my call block (A great feature on some of the panasonic phone!) and reported the phone number to the RCMP scam and fraud service :http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/scams-fraudes/index-eng.htm

Called within minutes of a computer scam. This time, a woman said she was calling re: security. I kept asking her to repeat her name and business name. Told them not interested. She at least hung up. I did a call trace.

C'est une fraude, faites attention!!! Ils ne sont PAS affiliés avec ADT en aucun cas, ils sont là pour frauder! Ils verifient si vous avez un systeme d'alarme a la maison! Ils ont essayé de savoir nos heures d'allées et venues a savoir quand ils pourraient envoyer un representant.... Le hic, c'est qu'ild n'avaient meme pas nos renseignements, ils ont demandé un autre nom.... Je me suis fait voler 2 fois en 2 ans a la maison et je ne fais aucunement confiance a ces fraudeurs!

Just got called twice today - approx one hour apart - I did not answer. I wish there was someone we could call to complain.

I also got calls from this number but didn't answer... If it is really from ADT, well it's a scam
because my house is protected by ADT and the phone number that they gave us is
1-877-950-5055 instead of 1-855-461-1009 so be careful.

It's a SCAM, they've called me as well. hang up on them, if u tell them u know their a scam, they won't call back.

I had two calls from them today. Also two days ago, someone was calling me at night from 4 am to 7 am EVERY FCUKING 20 MINUTES and all I could hear was breathing. It was creepy, but I didn't really bother. And now that you guys tell me that it's a security company I'm 99% sure it's them, trying to freak us out and then selling more of their products.....

They call a lot.  There is never anyone on the line.  It is getting very bothersome and creepy.

Call from ADT rep, not sure if it was legit. Said I'd get a free system for putting their sign on my lawn, the catch is paying for the subscription to their service. Happens often where the gear is free but the anual/monthly service fee is where they make money. Still be cautious.

When I see this number, I just tell them they have the wrong number. I do not like these calls.

Moi aussi j'en ai reçu plusieurs appel à ce niveau et je n'ai jamais répondu. Aujourd'hui cette fois ci j'ai répondu pour savoir ce qu'il veulenet et la même chose ils m'ont parlé de système de sécurité.

Je leur ai dit que je n'était pas interessé et par la suite ils m'ont demandé si j'en avais un et à ce moment je leur ai dit aurevoir poliment en raccrochant aussitôt.

Méfiez-vous, c'est une attrape.

Received a call from this number pretenting to be a house security system compagny - told me that they were not selling anything but would like to put a sign on our lawn and would give us a free security system. I caught on right away that they wanted to know if we actually had a security system or not - I ended the conversation by telling them that we already had one.

The very next day, I came home early and saw a car parked in front of my laneway, took my things in the house and started thinking about the call I had the day before - When I went back outside to take the license plate number the was leaving and too far away to see it - There are no freebees so please be careful!

Someone should report this to the police!  They have called several times, and if you miss their call and call them back there is no answer.
