An investigator called Morrison called my cell phone saying that I was served and was from my county with papers for check fraud and with a doc number and would come to ny home or job. I have not written any checks and I also went to my county website to check for my name under all civil, criminal, and lawsuit cases and found nothing at all. This woman was very rude and threatening me in the message that I better call her back immediately or else. I will be reporting them to the FBI. She also gave no infromation as to what the charges were for.

I am curious to find out if anyone was physically threatened by these guys. I received the same call back on April 03 at 9:30am. Caller claimed to be an investigator with the court and if I did not call back within 60 -90 min to (855)462-8207 I would be served and someone would be showing up. If he could not find me then a bench warrant would be issued.  they are just trying to threaten court and a demand of large amounts of money. It is illegal for debtors to threaten arrest or use vulgar language regardless if you do owe anything. Has anyone been threatened with arrest or worse?

I got a phone call yesterday saying that I am about to be served papers for court.  Then when I said that I didn't get a phone call for this they transferred me to a lawyer or collection agency for this saying that they are about to take me to court for some check fraud and if I go to court it will cost over $3ooo and if I want to settle it out of court then I will have to pay $400 to $600 and I am about to go crazy.

I called our local State Police troop and reported it and they suggested I contacted the court clerk and give them the docket number. If no such number exists I will know that it is fake. I will also be contacting my lawyer and giving them the number and the person's name.

Total scam.  Ignore 'em.

I received a call today from a case investigator Parker who claims to be from my county court. However he contacted my brother and told him that he needed to get into contact with me. He some how knew my brothers number which is a cell phone . He used a valid number from the court but it was a fax number. Then gave me the (855)462-8207. Stated I needed to contact him within 24 hours or I would be served at my residence and place of employment. Claims that  there is a complaint filed for alleged check fraud in my maiden name. I have not held my maiden name in 6 years. I will be contacting the county court clerks office and giving them the so called docket number to see if this matter is real or fake. If they are fake I will make sure to notify the proper people.

I received the same number and message. Saying there is some alleged check fraud in my maiden name. I have not had my maiden name for the last 7 years. My checks have been under my married name. I am contacting my lawyer. Investigator parker is the guy's name. He even contacted my brother today. It is not legal for them to even state what it for even on voicemail

A phone call is not legal, neither is email or fax!

Pretty much calling saying "you have been served" Notified. Some alleged check fraud. I havent written checks in over 10 yrs
Om almost positive its a debt collector
