I was charged twice too.....it's so upsetting as I don't know if the person I was donating too got both amounts or if he company took one....Is GOFUNDME just a scammer company knowing you won't question $40. I don't think I will donate again to be honest.

I was charged twice...but I know I only donated one time.  Two charges on the same day.  It makes me annoyed as it puts me off donating and I'd like to know if the person I was donating too got both amounts or if WPY took one?

Go fund me donation! But it did not say it on my charge card. Figured it out! Its Ok!

I got billed and I don't even remember donating anything to this group. I called my credit card company to verify and still I do not remember. It seems they charge in small amount only rather than big amount so they wont be noticed very easily. Thank you everyone for posting your comments. I surely appreciate it all.

I did not recognize the charge either, But my wife informed me she made a 25 dollar donation for someone whom had passed away. they asked for donations instead of flowers or anything else. So it seems to be a CC portal for various donations.

THANK YOU for mentioning the Color Run (and thank you Google for helping me find this site)!  I was about to contact my CC company to dispute this.  I didn't make the connection with the Color Run; last year's charge was through a different company.

I just saw these charges (two of them) on my statement. They are for myself and my husband registering for The Color Run.

I'm so glad I saw your message, I have this on my card and could not remember donating anywhere.  I did register for the Color Run, though and now I remember this is what it was for.  Thanks for mentioning it. :)

I freaked out to when I saw this... figured it out though!  Mine was for enrolling for the Color Run and then I enrolled my best friend. Hence the two charges because it was two different transcations. Whew!  

Therefore because this was an online transaction there was no phone calls or phone call transaction made. I went ahead and clicked "non-profit organization" though since thats what it is.

I donated to someone through a page called GoFundMe and I am assuming this is that site's collection group.

I was concerned about this charge initially when I saw it on my online banking... then I found this message board and realized it was a donation that I made thru GoFundMe to a coworker when they had a fire at their house.  All is well.  Hope your charges are too.

My charge was for a GoFundMe donation. It would really be helpful if the info on the bank statement matched something we might remember :-)

I, too was concerned when my credit card had a charge with this number on it, re: a sushi restaurant. I then remembered I made a donation on line to help a local busines - a sushi restaurant - affected by the floods here in Colorado. All good.( I hope)

I never got a call nor donated any money, but two charges appeared on my card yesterday that i had to dispute with my bank.  One of them was to these folks.  Beware

Who the heck are these folks? I have a $60.00 charge on my bank account. Can someone tell me how to get my money back from them?

I did not get a phone call from them, but there was a charge of $20.00 on my credit card that I did not initiate.

WePay, Inc.  They facilitate donations.  I remember donating twice.  I'm okay now.  Freaked out there for a moment!
