Some chick from a courier service called and said she was giving me a heads up that she will be coming to my place of employment and or home to serve me papers...........gave me 855 517 2438 and a file number.  I told good luck getting to me at either address..........................and to certify through the post office if she wants my signature.  So I called and got Mike in the litigation dept.  He would not tell me what debtor he was representing.  Told me to sign papers tomorrow and I would know.........REALLY?????? I've had my identity stolen twice and robbed once.............your lucky if you get a handshake from me let alone a signature accepting ANYTHING!

My mother received a call from someone from 855-517-2435 for me telling me that I had "been served"? I have no paperwork to document being served anywhere. O will investigate more, but they do not have permission to harass my elderly mother with anything pertaining to me.  They gave no name of the company, or the amount that they say that I owe.

Then i get a call from an unknown number said she had to "summons" me but i didn;t give her any info. So today i call all the courts in my area and they told me I don't have any court dates or "summons" they would have the paper work there. These people are just trying to scare others to get money out of them.

I don't believe you. Mrs. Amy Ruiz is a lawyer in Tampa and she helped me with all of my payday loans. I spent many hours on the phone with her and there"s no way she and what they do is bogus. I do know they can't arrest you so no, that's not true. But they can take you to civil court, which is what I didn't want. Listen to them before you jump to conclusions. It helped me. I got called from some "victor" back in December and called in not believing anything she said but she was able to send me my info for proof. I was able to straighten out my credit with her help.

I have been getting calls from this number atleast twice a week for the past month.  As well as some family member receiving the same ignorant messages.  They leave threatening voicemails claiming at the end I have "officially been served"!!  I am an attorney and you can NOT be served anything via a voicemail!!!  When I ask them to send me a copy of the so-called "SUMMONS" they get pissy with me and have yet to send me the documents!!!  If I owe a deby, fine, just send me the paperwork.  I am in the process of working with an attorney-friend that deals with these type of cases and they will NOT be around for much longer.  Hope you have fun in the time being!!!  MUAH!!!!

Good try Livo, hope they gave you a bonus. MRG is a scam. they threatened me with going to jail and being brought up on fraud charges. Luckily I recorded my conversation with John Anderson. I filed a complaint with the FTC,Mo. AG, FL AG, fdcpa, mo financial commision. Got a call from a fdcpa lawyer once he heard my recording of the threats and john saying the fdcpa laws don't concern them because they are not a collection agency was false he took my case imediately. I asked for a validation letter and he said he didn't have to give me on because I didn't do what he wanted. which is anoyher violation. So he broke several laws. Can't wait to get him in court and expose this scamming company that thinks they don't have to obey the laws. No matter if they serve papers they will still have to show a letter of validation and a copy of the license for the original creditor to do business in my state of missouri, which I have checked out and they are not licensed in this state. I contacted the original credtor but they refused to discuss it with me because it has been passed on to MRG. Anyway go to Wal-Mart and get a little $20 recorder and record everything with this unethical company.

Nothing but a scam that has no authority except to lie and threaten. Amy made the call then a Victor made threats. They have several numbers and locations. Just change their numbers when you contact police. Please be careful they may have a legitimate claim but no real authority or they would not hide behind threats and numerous different numbers. One comes up from New York and the other out of Florida mustang recoveries and other names

I find it odd all the post that are saying they are legit come across in "ghetto slang". Apparently without a proper education the only place that would hire you is this company. Please go back to school and learn debt collection laws and how to address people with respect and maybe just maybe people will take you seriously and hire you for a real job that doesnt include daily threats to people about a non exsistance law suit. Also inform your employer that in the laws of debt collecting certian laws pertain to you as well, such as licenses and bonds, letter mailed 5 days after initial contact, you can not threated law suit or jail...ect. You know all the things you do and are not suppose to.

you can not get arrested for a debt (read the laws idiot) you can not be scared into paying a debt. This place is a third party debt collector using scare tactics to obtain a debt they purchased, the orignial company no longer owns it there fore they are no longer tied to it, which means there is no law suit. They do not have license or bonds to collect in states and can not put anything on your credit. They are full of it like you are, apparently you work for them. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM, do not give any of your information over the phone, demand everything in writing through the mail not an email.....there are a ton of red flags here.

A Bob White called from a 716 area code but left a message on my phone to call the above 855 number.  I called & spoke with someone named Amy who claims I took out a payday loan with MyCashNow back in 2011 and that if I didn't pay they would take me to court, etc....their illegal mumbo jumbo.  Anyway, I told her I never ever had a pdl with MyCashNow but she gave me all of my personal info and stated she had my routing number & acct number at my bank.  When I asked her to give me my bank info, she claimed she couldnt because she couldn't verify me over the phone.  WTH!!?? Did she forget she just went over my supposedly loan info but all of a sudden couldn't give me my bank acct info?...fishy.  I told her I would research my emails and bank statements to see if said pdl was taken out by me and get back with her although I knew I didn't take one out with them.  Well, lo and behold, no such pdl was ever deposited into my bank account and no email whatsoever in ref to me taking out a loan with MyCashNow.  I called her back and she now says I, perhaps, may want to do a police report since someone use my info fraudently.  Gee! Is she frickin kidding me!?  I've never had such a problem with someone using my info without my knowledge.  I check my back account on-line faithfully every darn day and not one time have I seen something suspicious.  /// And they don't give you the name of their company when asked....only say "legal" dept or something....full of b.s.

How long have you worked for them?  They are a scam and call anyone that they can find that is associated to you.  They will even call your landlord and say they were going to serve them with factious papers.  They have given several people the same case number and just change the state.  Next time contact the state and local DA and file a complaint only when they are held accountable will they stop.  Well at least chagne their name and number and start all over again.
