I was told to call this 855-537-9465 to settle a debt from a cash advance i had done and they told me they could settle this out of court so i was paying them for months and now i recently called them to make my payment and now all i get is a voice mail. i just do not want to get in any trouble over this what do i do? Confused

I JUST GOT SAME CALL I TOLD THEM TO SEND ME SOMETHING IN WRITING THEY SAID THEY ALREADY DID BUT I NEVER GOT IT. CHECK ADDRESS IT IS CORRECT THEY REFUSED TO SEND IT OUT AGAIN. I AM NOT PAYING FOR SOMETHING THAT I DONT KN0W WHAT IT IS FOR.THEY VERY VERY RUDE

Keep getting calls from a firm in NY for my daughter saying she took a loan out several years ago. They say they have all of her information and that it is going to the county clerks office and a DA will be getting involved. She has not received any letters regarding this matter. Also we live in Pa therefore why wouldn't something be filed here. I am sorry I think someone is trying to make a quick buck.

I had the same similar experiance, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding due to my common name. They had the right address, but claimed mail isn't as reliable as it use to be. Once we verified it wasn't actually me they needed to talk to, they were very pollite & said they would remove my #. I have not heard back from them since.

I received a call from this company and i do not owe anyone. I have no clue how they can call me out of the blue, and I have never received anything in the mail requesting payment for a debt.  This is definitely a scam to me.

What is this company?

I believe the definition of a scammer, is some one who commits an illegal act, such as stealing money from a financial institution, or an individual & them hiding for years till it falls out of the statute of limitations so they can't be brought to justice. If your intentions were valid to payback what was wrongfully obtained, you would have been treated with respect I'm sure. You can't respect a liar or a thief. That is just my opinion of course.

when I called that #, I spoke with this really cool guy by the name of Jim. He was very polite & helped me resolve an ugly situation I got into.

THESE PPL CLD MY PARENTS NBR FOR ME. I DIDN'T EVEN GET A PHONE CALL. IF THIS IS A LEGAL DEBT, WHY CAN'T THEY SEND SOMETHING IN WRITING. UNFORTUNATELY, I FELL FOR THIS SAME THING LAST YEAR. I ACTUALLY PAID SOME MONEY BUT NOTHING WAS EVER UPDATED ON MY CREDIT REPORT STATING IT WAS PAID. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC & ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFC AS WELL AS MY PARENTS. LEGALLY, THEY CAN NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO ON VM BUT THEY DO. THAT'S VIOLATING THE LAW. YOU CAN NOT BE ARRESTED WITHIN 2 HRS OF THE PHONE CALL. THEY ARE NOT EVEN LICENSED TO COLLECT HERE. THESE ARE SCAMMERS TRYING TO GET MONEY!

If there is an outstanding debt owed, then I would believe that a lawsuit/judgement would be taken if voluntary arrangements were not made to reimburse the creditor. I would call & try to resolve with them if possible. That would be the smart decision. Good Luck.

855-537-9465 Legacy Asset Managment, forgot the guys name, states submitting lawsuit against for garnishment unless phone call made to take care of matter. This is a collection agency.
