NCO sounds very familiar, I have been getting calls from them. That would make sense. I didn't call the number but that is probably who they are.

I love reading this stuff. Every time I get this kind of crap I know it's bogus but I like to google the number and read what other people like yourself are saying. I'd never call the number because like what someone else said, they hare not been trying to contact me....... I know.

I just got the postcard in the mail to call to receive my cruise to celebrate their anniversary. This if fake because what company would not put their name on the card???? Anyways we had something similar to this before that we automatically won a cruise and could also get cash. We ended up driving 2 hours away to some small resort with a ton of people who received the same letter about a free cruise. Well we were there all day listening to them talk. Then they sit you down one on one and they try and get you to join, it's like a membership so you get discounts at hotels and other resorts. My husband and I were not interested from the start we just wanted free stuff. At first they quoted us $16,000 and of course we would have to put down a payment that day and make monthly payments. When we said no, they got somebody else over to work numbers and got it down to 11,000. We said no again, they they said the lowest they could go was $7,000. We told them no and said my husband didn't have a job and we were about to buy a house so we couldn't afford it. They finally let us go and told us where to get our free cruise. Well we got the free cruise. When we got home we read it and we still have to pay for it. It says free but it still costs money to book the cruise and you need to find your own transportation to get to the location. So basically it is scam. Don't call unless you like getting ripped off!

I believe that this is bait from a debt collection agency. My wife got a "complimentary 700 day cruise for 2" mail notification today and I believe this is what this is all about. NCO Financial sounds familiar to anyone? Let me know this would be interesting to follow up on.

Yes, I got one too (in Kansas); called the number and it says "claim center."
Joe 2011-10-04 22:45:25 Unknown
ACTUALLY John, on the bottom of the card above the phone number, it very clearly states, and I quote: "WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU! (THIS IS NOT A TIMESHARE OR LAND SALE OFFER)........well , they have NOT been trying to contact us [we have caller ID that can filter the REAL number out of the code].....but u right, if something SEEMS to good to be true then it most likely is.
Joe 2011-10-04 22:40:37 Unknown
if u cant get thru, it probably means that the number is as phony as a 3-dollar bill!
Joe 2011-10-04 22:39:03 Unknown
thats what I figured Theo...but had to make sure that I wasnt the only one that thought so.
Joe 2011-10-04 22:37:13 Unknown

Raj K 2011-09-23 01:20:32 Unknown
I also got the same card today in mail, my first thought was SPAM but still wanted to search on the web to see what it is about, looks like it is a SPAM, going in trash....
Andrew K 2011-09-22 03:36:52 Unknown
Anyone knows who this is?
Susie Q 2011-09-22 02:52:03 Unknown
Just got my postcard & I was hoping as well that it would be true
John 2011-09-21 21:49:42 Unknown
Got a post card in the mail and tossed it in the trash. I learned a long time ago that if it seems too good to be true then it probably is not legit. Probably some kind of a buying club or timeshare or some other high pressure sales roust. Save your $, call a legit travel agency and book your own cruise. Avoid this crap. If you can't save enough to pay cash for a cruise, go to a movie.
Nikki 2011-09-20 20:12:18 Unknown
We got the same card. Too bad it's a scam....we really are looking into a 7 day cruise lol. I think it's creepy they wanted you to bring your spouse....
Ray 2011-09-16 03:20:24 Unknown
Well, if they are celebrating their "grand opening" on your card, I don't understand how they can be celebrating their "anniversary" on mine. So yes, it sounds like a scam to me too.
Julie 2011-09-15 20:18:14 Unknown
We received a post card for a 7 day complimentary cruise. I called the number is answer by a "claim center". They validated numbers on my post card. The claim center made an appointment for me to pick up my vouchers at a local Residence Inn. I was told I had to bring my spouse. When I asked what company is sponsoring this award or give way, they reply was "Proconsumer". I cannot find any information regarding "Proconsumer". The claim center agent said that "Proconsumer" is new in my area and is celebrating a grand opening. Does not seem like much of a "grand opening" when there is no information on the web. Whoever this organization is they are using the logos of Carnival cruise line and Olive Garden to appear legitimate.

Go the same card yesterday in Corpus Christi, Texas. I called the number and it was answered "claim center, how can I help you"
Robin 2011-09-12 20:44:41 Unknown

Cleopatra 2011-09-09 00:46:28 Unknown

Theo 2011-09-07 21:14:59 Unknown
1-855-544-9400?
Ever notice they did not live a company name, nor an address?
The 7 day cruise and a diner for 2 are just baits to get you to call them asap. This is a obviously a scam !!!
Rosalie B 2011-09-07 20:07:08 Unknown
they haven't called us....yet. We received a card in mail with 855-544-9400 stating that due to Anniversary in our area had Carnival Cruise Line and Olive Garden symbols, that we were giving us a few 7 day cruise for 2. hmmmmmm......haven't called the number, wanted to see if anyone else is getting this same offer
