I called the better buisness bureau, the company claiming to assist with student loans is a scam

Direct Student Loan is a straight scam. Please if you need help with repaying your loans contact origination to figure out how carries your loans. As far as I know; For Illinois Sallie Mae or Default Resolution. If all else fails make sure you research firs. I hope this message gets to you in time.

THEY ARE TOTAL LEGIT COMPANY THAT HELPED ME GET MY SSI CHECK FROM BEING GARNISHED SALLIE MAE WAS HARRASING THE CRAP OUTTA ME UNTIL I FOUND THEM THANKS GUYS!!

This is a 3rd party provider they helped me consolidate my federal and private loans. I am very pleased all there hard work especially on the private loans. U need to make sure obviously who you are giving personal information too, at no time i thought i was talking to department of education it clearly says that when u call there number

Student Loan helped me too with getting my loans consolidated and released from Kentucky Higher Education . I cant thank them Mike and them enough for all the help. I agree with Random Man you need to know who you are calling and do research before choosing a company to help you out. I have recommended them to many people already

Thanks Natasha for heads up Student Loan Relief counsel was big help with me lifting my garnishment with performant recovery. Who was handling it for the State of Florida. I can say without there guidance of there I be still getting garnished

They helped me lift my wage garnishment. Maybe before you called u needed to make sure the place your calling they clearly tell who they are, the recording on voice before you speak to someone clearly says who they are. Sorry u had bad experience . I tell all my friends to post who they helped

Beware and always check the site in which you are getting customer service numbers from. The Student Loan Relief Counsel is a big time scam. They designed there sites to hit when someone googles direct loan phone number and have you call them instead. They are trying to pretend to be associated with the Department of Education in order to obtain your personal info such as SSN#, debt/credit card numbers. They will offer you reduced payments and a newly restructured loan in order to get this info. No matter how legit it sounds do not trust them they are criminals and thieves and have nothing to do with your student loan. Other numbers associated with this scam are1-866-587-3033, 1-866-587-3120 and 954-281-4977.
