Called me four times today.  Asked for my wife will not leave message.  Seen several post saying it is a scam.  

I don't usually answer 800 calls, but after receiving several calls from this #, I decided to answer one to my cell phone.  A lady asked for my daughter-in-law.  When I told her this wasn't my d-i-l's #, she wanted to know when she could be reached.  I told her I didn't know and asked who was calling.  She said she wasn't at liberty to say. I told her I could have my d-i-l call back. No, she couldn't leave a #. I told her to have a good day and hung up. I then blocked my # and called back.  I got a recording "You have reached Citibank, please dial the last 4 digits of your account #". I put in 4 random #s, but they then asked for my complete #, so I hung up.

I received this call and ask to call back to citi regarding the sear account which no one has it in our family.

they never answer my '''hello"  then i get a  busy sound . this is being called up to 16x per day

It's their job to reconcile debts and you committed to paying the bill.
When I got behind I wasn't mad at them, they didn't make me not pay the bill.

This company calls and, despite being asked to stop calling, continues to call twice a day, every three days. I am new to my job, and they have been doing this for at least three months. I assume that they are a collecitons company, and I admire persistence, but they will not find any success by continuing to call here.

Again, I have asked them to stop calling here every single time that they have called.

Are they debt collecting for wells fargo also?  My phone rings off the hook.  No one says anything and then hangs up.  They call at night, all day and night. And the calls are coming from overseas, accents.

I DO NOT HAVE AND HAVE NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT with Citibank or Sears. They call 5-6 times a day. I called the number back and requested to take my number off their autobot collection harassment list. That would be too easy, wouldn't it. The calls increased.  Got this address off this thread.. I'm just going to write a letter and include the state attorney general in on it. What do you do? You can't do anything about it. They say "you" owe a debt (phone number is tied to whomever willy nilly gives out a old number.. I don't owe the debt. The people who had this number eight years ago have a debt.

Calls five/six times a day. Although I have blocked the number b/c we do not have an account with Citi Bank nor Sears I got sick of them calling (blocked calls ring once). Called and told them I have no account with either. Gave them my number and SUPPOSEDLY they removed it. Yeah, we'll see... I have little faith.  

Whoever this caller is (I assume a scam artist) just called me at 7:15am on this fine sunday morning. They of course hung up on my when I answered. This number is now blocked from calling me again. I have to ask though, why would ANYONE even be making phone calls at 7:15am on a sunday morning unless maybe their house was on fire?

I have been receiving 4-5 calls from this number daily.  They are looking for someone named Eduardo.  They are unprofessional.  I explain they have a wrong number yet they continue to call.  I left up the phone and wait.  Annoying!

My parents have been receiving calls from 800-733-1116.  Some of the time a message is left and other times it's a hang up.  When a message IS left, it's in regards to a Sears card and the company would like it if the owner of the phone number being called would call them back.  

When my mother called, the customer service representative asked for the last four digits of the number on the card.  My mother told the representative that she didn't have a card with Sears or with Citigroup (which was mentioned in an automated voicemail when the call was returned).  The representative, who had a very heavy accent, mentioned to my mother to not worry about it and ended the call.

The calls kept coming, although they were becoming more frequent, four times a day and they started at 9:05 am.  I got so sick of hearing the phone ring every time I visited, this last time I decided to call the company.  I was in town for arrangement of my father's funeral.  

When I spoke to customer service I was not nice.  I told her that I had been reporting their calls to the DONOTCALL.GOV every time they called my parent's number.  She asked for a number on the account.  I told her there was no account and my parents hadn't had an account with Sears in over 10 years.  She asked for a name.  I told her both my mother's name and my father's name.  She said neither of those names came up with association with the number, however another name did come up.  It was a familiar name, it was my brother in law's name!  I think my brother in law used my parents as collateral for opening an account when he had creditors tracking him down.  I was so beside myself.  I didn't know what to think.  I apologized to the customer service representative for my mistake.  She said it was fine and that she had endured much worse.  

I did make two more calls to the company trying to get more information regarding the charges and the amount owed, but my brother in law is protected by law and I couldn't get any other details as to what exactly happened.  Within 24 hours of my call to the company, the calls have stopped.  I hope it stays that way.

PS My sister said the company couldn't track them down, so they called my BIL's mother and our mother as well.  I wonder whom else is on their fake accounts and how many my parents/mother are on and if I'm on the list too.  

This has to be a robo call. It calls everyday including Sunday at the exact time. I  have caller ID and don't answer. Very annoying as it comes during the time that I  am sleeping.

This number was calling up to 5 times per day. My phone would ring one time and then they would hang up. I never got to speak with anybody. I finally called the number and was able to speak with a representative. They told me who they were looking for (I think it may have been a previous employer) and I told her that person was no longer at this number. She said she would remove this number from the account. We'll see if that happens or not.

Legit call from Sears credit card services.  Late on my bill and unlike the apparent criminals on this forum I'll be paying what I owe. I like a good credit score and no constant harassment from bill collectors.

My friend called back from a voip number that was anonymous. It is a scam, he called and the first time he was hung up on,  called again and the guy said he  couldn't hear him and hung up

they asked for no name.... (1 st sign) ........ asked for phone number re citibank sears account ..(neither of us have one)  then  they  gave a first name of person they were looking for  regarding   citibank sears account  . then could not discuss .unless it was them  ... so when the  person they were looking for came in to get his message,..Papa Bear was upset . I dont have a sears account and did not buy anything there.  called ,  blah blah blah,  (Call it ..Yah Right  SCAMMMMMM
 ...."busy right now your call will be routed to next agent. afer pushing 1 for English   2 for whatever..4 digits of account number? ....... (2nd sign)...Stating to them I have no Sears acccount they hung up,...X3  ,  now PAPA BEAR  called Citibank...no threat no activity.  .................... sounds fishy //.dont bother...thought i would share    ask for their name first...I am sure no name will be given ..  just silence ,as they will hang up on you...

Unwanted daily calls

They keep calling my fax machine.  4 times in 30 days.  What kind of DUMM ASSED place don't know what a fax machine tone is and send a fax asking you to contact them?

I have had calls from this number but don't have a problem w/cc account so I presume it is a scammer.  Last call was on my Sunday and I don't appreciate that !!  Also, as another person said, they left no message ... that's a red flag for me too !!!

Number called three times, answered two times ,8:26am , 10:37am Sunday. Call at 1:22pm finally someone talked to me. What time zone do they call from?  8:26 am ct is awful early on Sunday - Saturday...

This is a scam.  Called and aced who they were and they hung up immediately.

Very annoying caller and we told them not to call again.  Will tell them that they are being
