I don't knOw why anyone would, first of all, call back a supposed job opportunity that texted such a vague message (obviously not Right) and secondly, why would you call for a job that the number is from somewhere else, a different state. Doesn't make sense. How stupid do these people think we are?  People, you have to be smarter than that. Let's put these idiots out of business by not falling for their crap. And just remember the old saying....."If it seems too good to be true, it most likely is". Words I've lived by most of my life and they have never let me down.

I got a text as well. Same message from the same number as everyone else. Asking to call the same number with 420 at the end. I was told to call about my security job i recently applied for 2 days ago. But as everyone says they are getting called for their school bank and other jobs they applied for, I thank everyone and will say i will not call back. And now apply only on official websites.

Thans DEB, I did not know how the jobs here worked, but in future i'll take care not to fall for such stupid mails.

I just did STOP and the following msg popped up on my screen:

'you have been successfully been unsubscribed. you will not receive any more msgs from this no. Reply START to resubscribe'

Unfortunately I read this after I called, but I strictly refused for their school proposal.  

I received the following text message from 847-737-7540 stating this is a Career Advisor--Hi--Please call me about the Banking position you applied for. Call 855-563-3420 Text STOP to cancel. I have never had a legitimate employer text me to contact in regards to a job opportunity. I will not call or text either number.

Go a text from 847-737-7540 saying to call 855-563-3420 re retail job position.  Text STOP to cancel- this is the text I received on my phone. I had this happen once before when I had applied for a job position through a job board.  The phone number I was told to contact at that time was for "Gigats" who ended up being a referral agency to send your info to online colleges.  They said they would continue to send job leads that pertained to my qualifications, and if I responded to each of their emails, and gave them a rating of how pertinent the job category was, and continued to apply for jobs that they send info to, they would guarantee that I would be hired within 30 days.  Yes, you can work and get your degree too.............
I will not be calling the phone number this time...

I got the same message . I applied 4 a job, & I got same  text message to call back.... Real companies or organizations don't do that...this is a scam, & probably trying to take personal info 4 their profit....                  I recommend not to answer ... and when submitting resumes on line to unknown companies , do not include any phone number or personal info  !!! just email address ....

Go a text from 847-737-7540 saying to call 855-563-3420 never got a text about a job ever in my life. These are such ripe offs.

I received a text message from another number saying to call another number about the "General Labor position you applied for."

I called and a pre-recorded message said something along the lines of, "at no time will they ask for any personal information, they will only confirm the information that you have already provided on the site".  They confirmed my name and number, but then asked for my address and email.  

I got same mesage for warehouse . I did not call . Any legit will call and say name . Be careful out there ..

I applied for admin assistant jobs also and I got a text.  The text came from 847-737-7540 asking me to call 855-563-3420.  I have never had a job text me.  And I don't plan on calling back.  The sad part is the jobs I applied for where through Careerbuilders.

I think it's a scam artist or scam company. My wife appied for some jobs online for an admin position at a school and this morning this number sent a txt message to our phone saying please call to talk about the admin position you applied for. No legit company (school in this instance) would send a txt message for a job interview, they would call.
