both my brothers and I got a call from them telling them that I had bad checks and was going to be servered

i also recieved a call saying i was being served for writing bad checks and i needed to provide my social security number and address so they could clear the matter when i refused the guy became real irate demanding the information i told him to suck a fat baby's dick i am not telling him s**t i hung up and he called me again 3 more times this time the number was unknown then he left a real mean message dont tell these f***s nothing this is obviously a scam

i contacted this number after continued calls to relatives.  they answered the call as United and UCR.
I also asked for a mailing address, and they flat out refused. a complaint to the FTC is next. If any one has more information on this please pass it along.

This is a version of the extortion scam as described by the FBI here http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710  Area code 855 has not been released for use as toll-free number and why you can't return the call.

I recived a message stating I was going to be served for writing bad checks. I have never had any problems with my checking account and don't even write checks. This was also the first call I've received regarding the matter.  When I tried to call the number back it would't go through. That prompted me to do a reverse number search just to check things out and I found this site....Sooo glad. This def has SCAM written all over it.

i recieved a call saying i was etting served for stolen property. i needed to pay 550.00 today  and the remaining balance by jan 1, 2011. it is from something 2 years ago i forgot about because the merchandise broke. i could not pay what they wanted o i got another message saying they were looking for me to serve me. im not sure if this is legit.
