They called this morning SUNDAY!!!! at 10:30 AM but left no message. Caller id had this number and "Toll Free" showing. Looks like TTW and Associates in Murray Utah, apparently a collections agency. My aunt just got a call from this thomas  guy looking for me that was urgent , that they need to contact me . I have no contact with my aunt nor i even no her house phone number. She was so scared , this person maid it seem i was in trouble with the law for something that happen " years ago " my aunt ask them questions but this guy would not give her any information .  She was scared by his tone of voice and his approch towards her.he left her a phone number and a case number to call back. I received a phone call on my house phone in Maryland but only received a voice mail. The number was 801-590-26606 (&2207) from Salt Lake Utah. The man said his name was Josh Thomson from Thomson Associates and Acquisitions  and that his lead investigators told him to search for my fiance John "Smith" saying he heard he was in contact with an Angela "Smith". He wanted us to get a hold of her and give her a message from him in reference to a case file # 154514-AL. He said she was completely unaware of the situation and that it was incredibly urgent we relay the message soon because he had to make important decisions concerning her immediately. He left a number to call him back on:  877-414-5588. Obviously it's some type of fraud so hopefully some of these specifics helps anyone else who's suspicious.

Got the same call today from a randy tha said the same thing everyone is saying on here. Called him back and spoke with a Robert. He asked if I had 30 minutes of time to talk about my case. When all I wanted to know was what it's in regards to- Easy right? I said I looked them up on the Internet and hung up! Thanks guys!

This is a Dummy number that comes up on your caller ID. There is a VOIP program that you can use to call out so that this number shows on your caller ID so it cannot be traced back. Often these programs are used for prank calls.

I received a very "serious" phone call from Randy Shamway or should i say "scam" way. I was so nervous. He is from Thomas Thomas Wickerman and Associates. He said everything that everyone is saying here - that my brother is unaware of this and he wanted to let him know that something was going to happen, etc. etc. Then, the same day, i recieved a phone call on my work cell. How the hell did they get my cell phone number? WATCH OUT!

I got a call from this guy calling himself Randy Shumway and I hung up on him, then he somehow got my brothers phone number and told him that its very important to get a hold of me, that i'm involved in something that I don't know about that could harm me. He states hes from an attornoys office and provides a reference number. He is a scam! He doesn't provide the name of the office he's from, just says an attorney office.

My daughter in law got a call from a Josh Thomas stating that he was told that she was in direct contact with me, using my whole name, and that i was involved in something that I had no idea about and that it was urgent that i contact him by nightfall, said he was with Thomas, Thomas and Wicherman & Associates.  So i googled the number and found this blog and reported it to the FBI.

I got a call today from Randy Shumway with the EXACT same message as above for my husband. If they can find my number and the name and number of my ex then they can find my husbands. The guy was pushy and acting like someone died! Its complete bull! I reported them to the FBI and BBB. Eveyone should do the same!!!!

This jerk Josh Thomas called my daughter to frighten her! He left her a case number and all. My question is why didn't he call me directly if he can dig up phone numbers to family members?! It seems like he constantly changes his name from what I am seeing on this blog. Obviously, he doesn't want to give his real name which is also suspect. Anyone with deceptive practices like these definitely is of a fraudulent nature. If this guy has a legimate reason then he needs to stop with the deceptive practices except he won't because he's not legit! I now have the link to the FBI as well as the address to this jerk! I was contacted by a man by the name of Robert Thomas.......with Thomas, Thomas Brickmann & Associates.  He left this long, long, long drawn out message, with a sense of urgency added to his voice for my son.  Spoke of how his investigators had gotten  my cell number, and identified me as a relative of (my son).  How it was vital that if this were true, I'd contact my son right away, by the p.m. hours and have my son return their call.  It was very alarming and worrisom for me to have had that kind of message left in my voice mail box.  I almost returned the call myself.   Instead of doing that I looked the number up.......How happy I am that I could read for myself the very simular experinces of others with this same firm.   What a shame and disgrace to worry others to that degree.  After I thought about it however, ......If their investigators could track me down, the relatioship and cell phone number......with the same effort, they could have gotten my son's #.  So I agree.....they are certainly not on the up and up.

I feel they have called several times. They have nothing to do with me but always make their message so desperate.. Yah, wish someone would find where these fools are and put them out of business.

My ex-husband (who has been my ex for 15 years) received a phone call saying there was a legal case against me and Josh Thomas needed to contact me immediately. When my current husband called and told them they would hear from our attorney, the person was "wait a minute, wait a minute."  Don't fall for it

Josh Thomas called my mother and left her a "horrifying message" in her words.  She called me crying because she thought my little brother had been involved in something awful!! I called him back and he explained they are a private office Thomas and Thomas Associates trying to get an urgent matter resolved.  He wouldn't tell me anything else.  

He definitely uses scumbag tactics to intimidate people.

Someone named John Thomas just called my mother-in-law said he was really glad he got hold of her, asked if she knew me, then proceeded to let her know that there was an old case number that he thought i might be interested in resolving??? How did they get my mother-in-law's number. Said he was with TTW & Associates. How do we stop these scammers, do you report them to authorities, how is it the phone companies are giving them numbers to run these scams, and not just one number. Extremely frustrating.

These idoits have called several of my family members. harassing them so i called a friend of mine who is a detective. He said to ignore him this is all a scam .

Just got a call from this same number...a Mr. Lyons...same things...had a case number and said it was imperative that I had "Mr. XXX" contact him immediately and they Mr. XXX probably doesn't even know what this case is about...thanks to this board, I will ignore this A-hole.

These people called my brother in Florida saying they need to contact me also saying I DONT KNOW WHAT I DO KNOW WHAT KIND OF TROUBLE I'M GETTING INTO. Well I tell you what somebody better stop them because they are barking up a bad tree. Hell they are THOMAS AND THOMAS LAW firm they say but they are going to get in trouble coming my way with whatever scam they got going it really upset me.

This same company called and left my husband a complete detailed message regarding an unknown name that my husband has no idea who it is.  He called my husband by complete and full name and mentioned the person he was looking for had several alias names.  He also gave a case # and left this phone # to call if my husband could get in touch with the person from which they were looking for.  Said it was urgent and very important to find this person.

Received a call for someone that does not live at my home.

A man named Josh Cook called my ex-husband's cellphone number (which I do not even have) and asked if he knew of my whereabouts and needed to give me information about a 2007 civil matter that I would be pleased to know about. As others have rpoerted about the, he said it was urgent to contact by Friday, no later than Monday morning, so that he could advise me of my case #, etc etc.
Not only does it upset me, but my children were also alarmed by their dad's call about mom's phone calls. These people Thomas, Thomas & Wichterman need stopped.

Just received a call from John Thomas of TTW.  He said a he needed to urgently reach a family member of mine.  I asked him if there was an accident or something, and he sort of paused dramatically and said, "well, it's not a medical crisis."  He told me that I needed to get in touch with this family member and have them call him ASAP and that the "judicial system" was involved.

These yahoos need to be reported......DON'T waste your time talking to them!

I received a call from #801-266-1717, Cameron Lott, of Thomas, Thomas, Witcherman and Associates LLC called me with a frightening message for my former husband's daughter. He knew my name and address, and all about me, and was very persistent that he must speak to my former daughter-in-law immediately, or have her call back before nightfall, regarding a situation involving her directly that she is completely unaware of what she is involved in, case file #147789-VA. He gave a call-back #855-600-1017. Again, he stated that he must speak with her tonight, as if her life was in danger. I have not seen her for over ten years and did not have any way to contact her. I researched the phone numbers, and found that TTW is a collection agency posing as lawyers:

I called my local Sherriff's Dept and played the message for them. The Deputy stated that this is just another way that a collection agency can force someone to pay a bill, even if it is not owed by that person.  Many in my area have received similar calls. SCAM ALERT!! Do not call them back, they will try to force you to pay an erroneous bill.

I got the call also saying it was something about a FAMILY MEMBER  which was a complete lie.  I didn't feel right about it so I told him I didn't have time to talk and I would call him back. Well guess what I am NOT calling him back guy claimed to be Anthony Lyons from the from Thomas Tomas and Ricterman associates Attorney's at law. I think Anthony Lyons is just another alias you should look out for... I LOVE the internet!!

Sarah Williams was calling me from 1 888 294 4740 but it was showing up a private number I googled TTR and found this thread she called me to say they had a case against me over a bad check but I havent written any checks in over a year. They said they will be sending a 1099c form to the IRS that will affect my taxes this year. Everyone just recieved W2s soI guess thats the bite this year
