(855) 610-7069   they call constantly, at LEAST every hour, Monday thru Saturday, interfering with our real customers' service and the business. They refuse to leave a message or state their business name.

855-610-7069 calls constantly. There is either no answer, a series of clicks, or a recorded call saying please stay on the line. If they are a debt collector, they can't be collecting many debts by not responding when the phone call is answered.

I just rec'd call from 855-610-7069  and I called them back.  After the recording said (We can't locate your account using your phone number) as I called from my home phone, I used the (* and #) and someone answered. Yes it is SST for a debt collection.  I reconfirmed the  phone number they called and they asked for a Jose Gonzalez.  I informed them that there was no one here by that name, that I new no one by that name, never heard of anyone by that name and they took me off the calling list.

YES! They definitely are SST.  They called again and actually stayed on the phone when I answered this time to discuss payment on our loan.

Why then, do they hang up the minute I answer the phone, and after only two rings?  It very well could be SST, as we do have an account with them. Our payment was due on the 9th.  Today is the 15th.   But what purpose does it do for them to hang up when I answer?  They've done this in previous months as well.

They call constantly any time of day or night.  This is harassassment.  They should lose all phone privileges.  why is something not done????

PJ,  this is not uncommon.   These zombie debt buyers will buy old debts and make an effort to collect regardless of whether they were paid or not.  Then if they do collect or don't collect,  they will be resold to another bottom feeder 3rd party zombie debt buyer,  and the process starts all over again.  Even if you paid it, wheter yours or not,  before too long it would be again resold and the calls would begin anew.  You should not have sent them a damned thing.   You should have demanded written and total validation of the debt.  The odds are,  they have none and it is out of SOL.  Good luck.

Constant calls early in the morning, late at night, Sundays.  I would call this harassment. I think is about a old bill which I had paid to another collection company. I have sent them information showing that I have paid the bill, but I still continue to get these calls.

This number appears to be owned by SST, Inc. (http://www.sst-mo.com).  They are likely calling about collecting a debt against a loan on which they have assumed the recovery effort from a third party.  Their automated "representatives are busy" barker is incredibly annoying, and automatically hangs up after three announcements.  Neither caller ID nor the automated message identify the calling party, but the greeting played upon calling the number back says "SST".
