Since debt is a civil matter and not criminal, your son could not be arrested even if he did owe for the loan.  Next time they call with the "he is going to be arrested" line tell them you have just recorded them violating the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices act and the recording and telephone company records tracing the call to their company are being given to the US District Attorney for prosecution.

Let me claify, Micheal has called in the past, this last caller was female..

My son has been receiving these calls for months, they keep saying they have a warrant to arrest him, he has not taken a loan out, they explained it was a pay day loan done over the internet and they have his voice on a recording excepting the loan and they would take that to court, he told them good then they would see it wasn't him.  The perons that calls Michael someone is rude and explains how my son is going to jail if he doesn't pay them 600+ dollars.  It's harrassing and non-stop, just got a call and another 72 hour deadline.  HOW DO WE GET THIS TO STOP ?  When the call comes it on the caller ID it says "NO CALLER ID"  ... I will not be answering it anylonger, they even have MY name....i have a number for Sharon Davis 844-795-3413.  The caller stated she worked for "Public Carriers Union" and told me "that's none of your business"  i explained to her that SHE called me and YES it was all my business if she is calling my phone to explain who she works for!!!  She told me my son would be picked up by the law within 72 hours and "they" are watching him...what does that mean?  I asked her she would not answer she went on with another statement of giving me Sharon Davis's number and how he needs to contact her immediatly to stop the warrant from being issued.  Good Gravy!!!!  

I also got a call from these people! It's ridiculous! I have no debt with anyone!

My husband called the courthouse and make make sure someone filed a case against him but the wasnt. The courthouse reported it to the cops. The same day the detective came to our house to get our statement. These people are STUPID.....PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THEM. Again after 72 hrs nobody came to our hhouse or at work. They us a lot of problems.

Out of curiosity,  did they come or just threaten?  Did they come?   Did you make you supervisor aware that it was a scam in progress?  Termination from employment without cause is illegal.  Step up to the plate and make sure that your employer is fully aware of what is happening.

They called my job and said they were coming to serve me on my job.  It caused a lot of problems at my job. Every thing Is just as Fed up posted. How do I report them.

I just got a voice mail stating the same thing--I will be served by a Investigator Roberson and she will be accompanied by police officer for safety purposes to my job or my home.  She stated that I was a respondent to case #D20099 and they are scheduled to serve me with a summit, not summons. ( I listened to the voice mail twice to ensure that I heard her right) She also stated that if I wanted to request this to be dismissed or adjourned, I could call 1-855-628-7734.  This number goes to a voice mail of someone named Michael Rhinehart, and it does not say what the name of the company is.  They have called family members that I have not talked to in years!  This is probably a payday loan from 2006.  I called civil and county departments and the case number left on my voice mail is not a number for civil or county courts, and I gave them the number they left on my voice mail and they stated that this is not a number for them.  I will be reporting these people!

I have received these harassing calls - good thing that message left on VM.  I have contacted the local sheriff office and let then hear the messages. Also contacted the FBI and forwarded messages to their office.   Both units of the law say these are scam people.   Threatened to go to my work.  Good luck since I no longer work - am on disability and retired.

I received a phone call this morning from this number 8556287734. They were looking for my husband and giving him a noticed for 72 hrs to settle a payday loan which my husband never took out a loan. Harassing me and my husband to pay the $ 967.48. The woman told me on the phone if we will not pay the amount they are going to come to my residence or at work with the police officer. They are calling our relatives as well trying to harass them. My husband and I never took out a loan. This need to be stop!

Yes same as posted, saying took out loan and will be sending police to my work!

I am sick and tired of these people calling me.  I have told them NUMEROUS times  that they have the wrong number,  when I spoke with a  Sharon Davis, she was RUDE &  UNPROFESSIONAL.   Looks like I'm  going to  get my brother in law (Attorney)  involved in this.

I've been receiving calls from this number about a loan I never took out. They're calling family and friends saying I used them as references when I've never used anyone as a reference. They say they're from Baxter County Public Service and issuing a warrant. But they refuse to give any of my information or send me anything so that I may investigate them.
