I haven't had a call from this particular number but I do want to tell you all that most of these are scams where you might have a charged off debt that some junk buyer bought.  They then try to collect it as well.  The modus operandi is to use illegal scare tactics.  Here's an example.  One guy said if I didn't call him back (like in Obama's world, I even have the money to pay a 4 year old debt to begin with), then he was sending the file to my local courthouse on Thursday.  SOOOOO, Thursday morning at 8:30, I get a call and the number is from my local courthouse.  He says he is "Mr Anderson" and he just received some papers on me and I would be going to trial....FIRST of all, nothing happens that quickly in the court.  SECOND, you don't go to trial on credit card issues.  THIRD, just to be sure, I called the courthouse - this guy had given no other info.  They said there was nobody by that name and that they wouldn't call - they would send something in the mail.  The one thing that worried me was the number on my caller ID WAS the courthouse number - she explained that they can mimic the number on the caller ID and that, no, there was no such paperwork.  Please stop worrying about these people, especially if you are in a state that can't garnish for credit card debt.  They are criminals from top to bottom - many of them are in Africa even. It's all a scam.

I have the exact same person that is harassing me. Your story is identical. Wow what is up with these people REALLY??!!!  I wanted to ask Kathy - When you went to law enforcment could anything be done about this type of Employment harrassment? This is crazy.

Had several calls that came in as restricted numbers which I don't ever answer. Finally I got a very threatning VM that I had better call them back cause they needed to serve me with papers or call the 855 # and settle this. When I called the number I got a person name Adrian Jones and he informed me that I had been filed with fraud charges and that since i hadnt been served yet with documents they could lower the amount I owe by $300 and when I asked to see the documents so prove it was my signature he refused unless I paid the balance in full first. We he had me so scared that I caved in and agreed to make monthly payments as I don't want fraud charges on my clean record and Im a Criminal Justice Student. I have paid over $400  to these ppl and after today im questioning if i have been scammed I got a call from a yet another company saying that I had a loan from 2008 and when I asked for proof they hung up on me I called back and again hung up on me. after some research online they are a scam and i have filed a complaint with the attoney general office in West Virginia. I have talked with my DA's office since thank goodness our family attorney is friends with him and per the DA i need to change my number cause I have fallen into a scam ring once one scam artist finds someone that will pay they sale your number off. so unless these people can provide proof to back up their claim don't give them any personal information.

This number was given as the contact number by the very ignorant person on the phone.  The actual number that came up on my phone was 414 375 4330.  This company is a scam operator that also goes by the name Consolidated Mediation Firm.  

If you have an FDCPA issue, I recommend contacting Krohn and Moss lawfirm.  They have helped me in several instances.

This number is from LSI or LiquiDebt Collections something something. Vile scum that uses fear mongering and often illegal tactics to collect a debt.
I reccommend recording the conversations because they will say ANYTHING to close a case.
Dont give them any personal information! If you do choose to pay the debt, do it on YOUR terms, they will negotiate!

Most oftheir tactics are illegal or borderline against the law (which is why you record) Theyll say theyre going to co e to your house but never will.. I repeat, never.

Bone up on HIPPA FTC and Federal Debt Collection Protection Laws, you have rights!

I really hope this helps, they scared me BIGTIME the first time they called (I made some mistakes in the past) but I took a deep breath, hopped online and was prepared next time they called. I asked many questions, got them on record breaking the law.

I got call from Ray Alvarez yesterday he called my job and parents had them worried. Something mustbe done about this abuse. I told my parents to pray for him when he calls.

Yes they kept calling me by the name Natalie Jones harrasing me and my kids the sme way until my son
answered the phone and asked to speak with her boss and she said i am my own boss hes like ok how about u shoot yourself and put yourself out of your missery so u dont call and harrasse people any more. after that they haven't called back anymore. we tried getting more info on the so called firm and nothing comes up....

We have been getting calls for this ex-employee and they obviously do not know about the HIPPA law but they are persistant.  They call once a week.  Gave a claim number too.  Guess we will notify the law so someone can check into them.

I received 8 calls from this number today and he finally left a message for a "Guenevere."  Mr. Kyle Martin, from this number, claimed they had a claim against her, left a claim number and said "you have been officially notified."  He was extremely intimidating and threatening.  I called the 855 # and asked for Mr. Martin, who, of course, wasn't available.  So I told the twerp who answered the phone that HE has now been officially notified to never call my number again.  We'll see what happens.

A man claiming to be Michael Brown has called me, everyone in my family (including two minor children), my HR Department at work, and a fricking ex-boyfriend from high school that I haven't spoken to in at least 15 years! He has stated on numerous occasions that he is going to bring me this claim- and I have to sign for it. He has yet to show up. He is supposed to be here, at my place of employment- actually about 10 minutes ago. I am sure the calls will stop, like they did last time, for a few months now when he doesn't show. But they will start right up again. My fiance is contacting our local law enforcement so we can find out how to press charges.

I recieved 2 calls today from a person named Ray Alvarez; he was rude, demanding and he lied about his intentions. I accussed him of being part of a scam and told him the person he was looking for had not lived here for 3 years and had never used my phone number as a contact; he continues to call at a number & address he knows is incorrect. I intend to file charges with law enforcement and track this guy down; jail time is definitely in his future. I believe this guy is part of an identity theft ring trying to scam people out of money that they claim will be a "settlement."

I got one too, from a different number telling to call  855-642-4059, saying that their firm had a claim and charges against us and that we need to call and verify our address and employment.  But not going to do it
