I just cancelled comcast this past weekend and the calls have started!  They were very difficult to deal with when I informed them that I was calling to cancel my service.  It took me 45 minutes to get them to cancel my service.  Would never use comcast as a service again.......highly recommend others not to waste their time with this company.

Same thing here.  Told them 3 rate hikes in 14 months was not going to fly, and I was now retired and on SS fixed income.  They didn't want to take NO for an answer.  Today the 885-657-7208 call; hung up after 1 ring.  That is sometimes a trick to get you to call them back, which results in $10~$20 per minute charges.

I canceled comcast and the calls started the next day.

Received about 4 calls from this number, I answered once not knowing but no one answered so now when it rings I don't answer but they ring only once now leaving me a missed call.

Comcast is not looking to make long term business relationships with their customers when they have you - I think it's because they know cable companies in the years to come will be obsolete. But if you ever discontinue their service....they will call you until you can't take anymore. Call after call from this number. They don't leave a message because they want you to call back out of curiosity so they can lure you back in.

Yep, I recently cancelled my Comcast service and have been getting calls from this number.

Comcast - I recently cut off my service, and they're now offering me a new, lower rate.  I told them they should have been offering that to me all along, and if they were willing to refund all the money they obviously over charged me for the last five years, I would consider switching back.  They didn't think that was funny.
