Fox no good. Must be US mail and must contain all the particulars of the debt.  Don't pay them anything.  This sounds like a scam.

Had someone claim that I had a civil claim against me.  And that this was there way of serving me. When you are served  papers, it is always in person!!

You need to report them to the Attorney General immediately.  These people strike fear into the elderly and disabled!  Read articles about how people have died from heart attacks from how these people treat them!  These people are debt collectors and BY LAW they can NOT do this!  PEOPLE DIE!!!

It's illegal to threaten people with arrest when attempting to collect a debt.  I suggest you check your credit reports (yours and your husband's) at www.annualcreditreport.com, which is the only true free annual credit report.  See if there is any delinquent info being reported by CashNet.  If not, this sure sounds like a scam phone call, trying to extort money from you by threatening arrest.  For more info on FAIR debt collection and what debt collectors can and cannot do:  http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

They called my 83 yr old mother-in-law and harassed the crap out of her, in reference to a relative.  Called her a liar at least 3 times.  She is not in good health and I thought we were going to have to take her to the hospital!  The caller, Greg Bailey (he said) was arrogant and extremely rude.  Then he called my cell phone, same thing.  He left a message, good thing I didn?t get to talk to him!  He called my husband?s cell and when my husband called back, and advised him not to call his parents again, Greg Bailey told him he would call anyone he wanted to, with foul language.

This man called asking me for someone with the same last name as mine but I don't know who it is.  He askes me if I am , and reads out my entire name first middle and last and says that this person put me down as a contact reference.  I said again I don't know this person and he said well your going to feel real bad when we issue a warrant for her arrest.  I said ok now your threatening....I'm done talking to you and hung up. Complete scam....just makes me uneasy that they have my full name and number

This person states hes name is Greg Daily from AES or EAS eitherway, since i dont know who this people are, i asked who? Greg got so angry & told me there will be an order to arrest me, then hung up. I guess we can get arrested for asking who they arey. No legit company has an issue answering a question.

EAS - they call non stop everyday, or every other day!! Scam, not calling them back!

It is a collection company called EAS. They claim they are collecting for a company called "Cash Net" or "Cash Net USA". They call at all times of the day and night, several times a day. Their mailing address is:

Keep getting a call from ... let it go to answer machine starts saying they are calling about a case # in california for a william lintenberg (no one by that name here) had this # for 4 years. Started giving me the 3rd degree. Real jerk and saying that am I sure i don't no him so then he said that he was lying to him so he is just going to have him picked up!!!

These a-holes at EAS call my husband all the time..... This morning at 5:00am! They collect for Cashnet USA and yes he owes Cashnet but we had a financial crisis that made it impossible to pay it back as planned..... Our credit is shot anyway so
It's not going to kill us right now! But these mother- f-ing a-holes calling at 5 am and worse calling and threatening my Husband with two felonies for doing a check/cash advance with Cashnet across state lines and not paying them on time or not having funds in the checking account to cover it try to tell us that the Police will come to my house arrest my husband and they can take my husband to jail over not paying it back is BS! They must think we're stupid to believe that a civil suit can get us arrested! We are stressed out enough with our financial situation being the way it is we don't need to worry about whether or not my husband's going to go to jail ! So if they're calling you and threatening you just know that it's BS they cannot take you to jail over a civil suit!! Just because Cashnet USA uses these a holes I will NOT pay them a dime! So this morning at 5:05 AM I blocked they're phone number from ever being able to call again bye-bye EAS!!

Got calls from them 3 days straight, finally called them to tell remove me from there list and they told me I had an account. Well I did what this site said about asking for validation, and they actually faxed it over to me while I stayed on the phone with em. Didn't pay em anything til I bring it up to us bank to make sure its legit but I will findout in the morning

When you see a positive comment, posted by someone who had/has no reason to come here - it's a fake planted message. Every time. Think about it. Do you research the car repair man AFTER the work is done, & are happy with the service?

Everyone getting a call from these frauds needs to simply DEMAND a notice of validation by mail. NOT e-mail or fax; as per federal regulations under the FDCPA. These clowns won't supply a thing but hot air, bluster & BS!

they called me as well.. i was actually very relieved that i took the time to call the number back.  They called me and informed me of an older account my ex husband received a payday loan for.  Thankful enough i called them they gave me the info and i called CASHNET and they told me all about it.  Being that he used all my information i spoke to them and they advised me to receive legal actions towards him but they were willing to speak with the client about getting the bill resolved voluntarily.  The bill was $983.54, they worked with me and got CASHNET to reduce the balance to $688.48 and allowed me to pay half up front and the other half in two weeks on my next pay period.  They were extremely respectful and i thank them for bringing this to my attention and now i will be bringing my ex to small claims courts.  

What is the deal with these people...They call everyday, and its the same recording.  I know this is some sort of hustle or scam, this is my secondary cell phone, it is not associated with any account anywhere, either banking or credit.  Do not answer these fools

I have gotten numerous calls from this number as well - stating it's urgent and has to do with an account associated with my phone number - a scam - please have them stopped!

This number has called me twice and its the same automated message of a male voice saying to call about account activity linked to my mobile phone number. No info about what account or what EAS is. I haven't called it back because I'm certain its a scam of some kind.

I've been getting calls from this so called company. 855-675-3334 EAS,and that i had to call them about an account linked to my cell phone. I know all of my accounts! And there all in good standings!!!

I have gotten the same message from EAS 855-675-3334.  He left a voice mail on my cell phone for the last 3 days.  The caller sounded like a male and he said "..liability issue with bank account linked to this phone number."

they left a mesg saying it was important i call back and that there was a problem with an account that had been open and its to do with my cell number..

They called me left msg for me to call concerning last four xxxx of ssan on my home phone No one I know has that last four Called them back from my cell phone They wanted my home number I told them you already have it you call me They finally hung up on me .Didn't speak real good English  slight accent.    

I called this number back and they talked in circles saying they were pulling up my acct.  He could not tell me what the call was for because he wnted to make sure his info on my acct was correct.   I asked what acct is this and what is your company, he says  you arent listening to me, Im pulling up your acct.  I dont have an acct so why did you call?   we are looking for  ummm  Louis.   Im not sure if they are charging you for this call and thats why they want to keep you on the line or if they are getting your phone info.   I hung up and reported the call
