Back in September I.received a call from Luchey and acc saying I owed money on a Fast money loan which I did so I gave them over 900 dollars now I have another guy calling and saying I owe over 1500 dollard on the same loan. What is going on?

I had been contacted by a supposed law office back in December about a debt I owed and worked out payment arrangements with them to settle the debt.  When the amounts were deducted from the checking account they were sent to a company called Luchey and Associates.  After the third payment, I attempted to contact the law office, Liberty Credit Law in New Jersey and Luchey & Associates and discovered that phones to BOTH places were disconnected and one phone number was answered by a woman who said I wasn't the only person looking for them, that she had the phone number for two months and had been getting calls from a lot of people looking for both the law office and the debt collector.  

I placed a stop payment on my checking account to prevent any further money coming out to these crooks and advise anyone who who gets any phone calls from anyone threatening about a debt that you check them out thoroughly and get backup from anyone saying they are from a law office,  Demand a letter IN WRITING from them and check them out first before entering into any financial dealings with them.

THIS IS A BIGH TIME SCAM COMAPNY: THE NUMBER 1-855-678-0744 BELONG TO US A SHUTTER COMPANY IN CALIFORNIA. AND NO WE DO NOT TAKE PEOPLES MONEY.

This happened to me I gave them all my information. they took money out for 25 then i had set up a payment plan for over the next three weeks for the amount of 3 hundred dollars total. after i found this yesterday i called them cursing at them an hung up on them. I then recalled the number n it was disconnected. cancaled all my bank cards.

I too got scamed  by them for $120.00 so please if you know anyone else that would like to join in on the suit let me know jodidriscoll72@gmail.com is my email.

Does any one know of this company Reliance Exchange Group loacted in 3455 Peachtree IND. Blvd in Duluth,GA.30096 and their phone numbers are 855-678-0744 /888-544-5769fax/866-372-8037? I belive the are working and collecting for a company call America Web Loan.Mr Terry Banks is the Verification Director.Who are these people? If anyone has any more information on the company please advise. Thks

I got a voice mail from 855-835-8721 with case/affidavit #, and something involving restraining order.  I called back and they asked if I was _____   ______, who is my sister.  I tried to question them as to what it was about -- they said criminal charges, and she would be arrested tonight, so I should have her call to see if this could be taken care of "out of court."  When I told her there is no way criminal charges in my county would be taken care of "out of court" by some legal department in a company out of state.  She said I was just fishing for information and if my sister didn't call them she would be "picked-up" tonight."  I said the whole thing sounded fishy and that I would be contacting the AG's office, she said "I don't care who the hell you call" and hung up.  I called me sister about it and she said they hounded her without mercy about  a year or so ago, and had her scared to death.  They would call her at work 7, 8 times in a row and threaten her with arrest.  She did have several debts, none of which they ever referenced who seemed to know about, so the calls were seemingly not connected to any real debt.

The phone # used on me was different, 855-835-8721, unfortunately I was so shook up I gave them my information. Though they only got $25 they have all my information and I don't know who to report it to. It just happened today so I will be calling my bank first thing in the morning to try to stop any payments from being taken. I am so stupid.

how can we go about filing with the FBI? is there any other organizations/people we can contact to possibly at least shut this down???? FYI too there is some poor elderly mans cell phone number listed on my bank statement related to these maggots, my bank called it while I was on the phone with them and the poor man said he has been getting calls from ALL OVER THE COUNTRY with people trying to find LUCHEY & ASSOC.

Luchey & Associates. Same as the rest, stating I owe some payday advance place $700.00 or would have to pay $4000.00 if went to court. I have made payment arrangements with them, now doing a search because something just didnt feel right about this and found this webpage.....on the phone right now with my bank to take care of it now!!!!! Will this scamming stuff ever be stopped??? I'm a single mom of a 14 yr old on SSI...... I think the next lower step is going after a Senior Citizen. Debit card cancelled and claims of fraud on each payment they have already taken out filed with my bank.

Again Quiana,   this is infact a scam.    In the real world they must provide you with validation of the debt and proof of their right to collect.   It is a SCAM......Don't you dare give them a dime.   Don't even talk to them.
This is a relatively new scam (Payday loan claim)  that is getting prominent because they have been so effective in quick collections by scaring the hell out of people.   Don't talk to them,  hang up on them.

Well brother,  you have been screwed.   Take immediate precautions with your bank or cc holder to block any further withdrawls.  These scammers are so bold and aggressive that some people who haven't taken the time to research their rights,  get taken.   Do your self a favor QUiana and research your rights as well as the collectors rights on the internet.  Read all you can about the subject and how the collections process works.
There is no such thing as debters prison.  No body goes to jail because of a collection agency.  They have no more power than you to throw them in jail without due process.  This does infact involve more than telephone threats.   They just scared you into making a quick decision which is how they do it.  Sorry and best of luck with these b*****ds in the future.

I received the same call and messega indicated I'm. Under criminal investigation and my attorney and I have to return call within 24 or 48 hours.  I file a complaint with fbi ic3.   Hopefully they will caught all these people.  Scam.

What do i do if they have already taken a payment from my card?

I recieved a call stating I owe for a pay day loan. When I called they would not give me any info on teh pay day company but the name pay day loans more and would not give me their information or address. I believe this is a scam and would like to figure out how to find out. The number I was given is 855-678-0744. They were very rude and not willing to work with me or anything. Unfortunately, i gave them some accoutn info but after reading these reviews I am going to cancel that. They state they are in south carolina and will take me to court....SOMEONE HELP ME

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know you are aware they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities.

keep getting calls for my brother in law. he knows its a scam. want the calls to stop. am calling the numbers today and telling gthem not to call me again. can't believe nothing can be done to these people!

I got a message from that same number much the same as yours.  It's a collection agency and they were trying to contact the guy that had my phone number before I got it. Just call the number and tell them they made a mistake.

This is a scam.  Plain and simple. They send a phone message that you are under investigation for criminal fraud of a financial instiution. They told me to pay $300 now or pay $3600 if it goes to court with a possible warrent.  They want your credit or debit cards numbers. Don't give any information tell them before you will pay anything you need proof of the dept being owed via certified mail. In the USA by law a dept collector has to send out proof of a dept being owed via certified mail.

This is not completely accurate. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act does say it is illegal to threaten legal action in regard to a debt IF THERE IS NO INTENTION ON TAKING LEGAL ACTION. If a company is going to sue you they can advise you that they will file suit. You will be notified by service of papers from a sheriff or process server, not by mail (certified or otherwise). An attorney's office will indeed ask for payment by phone, but they will also give you their mailing address and contact information. This company is a complete scam and fraud. When you call any collection agency or attorney they will gladly give you the name of their company as well as physical address. I have worked for the largest collection attorneys in the country and  have never been sued for my collection practices. In addition to reporting this company to the FTC, you want to also cal the attorney general. FYI the name of this company is Luchey and Associates.

Just found out they are a scam! They want money over the phone. Per the Fair Debt Commission laws its illegal to threaten suit or any type of legal scare. No law states you be arrested for not paying on a loan, if legal action was to go forward you must be notified in the mail in order to allow timely filing for court documentation and defense. Also if you chose to obtain a lawyer. You also must have the notification certified if mailed to show proof of receiving this. This so call "attorneys office" has a million paralegals who are not who they say they are. They are people who need to find real jobs. No attorney's office asks for payment over the phone. This is a scam, call them or report it the the Federal Trade Commission  if they are threatening you.

Say I owe them money. $500.00 by tomorrow or else go to court and pay $2400.00
