Got called today.  Got transferred to the "homicide" department "by accident."  Was called "Precious" and that's when I went bat sh*t crazy.

I received a call from 855-697-3885 The guy on the phone cussed me out said that I had to felony warrants for an outstanding loan with the compass Bank from back in 2011 and I never even had an account with that bank at that time amongst the cussing me out they told me that I had 20 minutes to go to a Walmart payment processing center and send $1500 to the race the war and have anything lifted I contacted my attorney who advised me that this was a complete scam and not to pay them anything and I was also advised to contact the Atty. Gen. in my State New Mexico to give them the number from this processing so call center so that they can be dealt with by the real authorities

These folks are bottom feeders and won't shut up long enough to let you ask questions. I think the name is World Wide Collections but I wish I had a number they would answer when you call back. To the point, I hate to say this and it's the same everywhere a debt collector can try to collect a debt forever. Each sate has it's own laws on how long they have to sue you and in most the criteria to extend that period is so easy it really leaves the people that don't owe the money and are just being harassed in this grey area.  They are calling me and haven't followed legal protocol so can never sue me but did read me my rights today and told me I would here a knock at the door any moment and be arrested. COMPLETLY against the law but aging what can you do and they know it. I can take days of my time to contact all of the federal agencies that would oversee this type of business and have arrest powers but do I take work off to do it? The little telephone tough guy on the other end that read me my rights would be afraid to walk up to my 6'2 325 pound tattooed biker a#$ on the street. lol

This number calls at least 4 or 5 times a week and are asking for someone names Tiffany, I did finally get a real person and told them this is the wrong number!!! I'm not saying that only to get you to stop calling but also because you are calling the wrong person! The a***oles still keep calling! I just checked my vm, had 7 new messages 6 were from that number! How do I get these idiots to stop calling and yes, they always say it is a "legal matter"

This company continues to call and harass me. When I questioned them the man called me boy and threatened me with "who do you think your talking to boy?" He then continued to talk about having a bigger c*** than me. All I wanted was to be off of their calling list. They claim to be a legal department of some sort. They are definitely not. So be careful if you get a call from them

I keep getting a phone call from this 8556973889, they claim they looking for one whom has a criminal background! Not here just tp old people me and my husband. We are not in any trouble with the law, but call keep coming and then sometimes they call ''Private'', same people so what do we do?

This phone number keeps calling asking for someone who has never worked for our company, when we try to inform the caller of this they threatened a warrant.

keeps calling then  the claim to transfer me to warrant detp to officer Edwards  and tell me I took a payday loan on the internet in 2010   they say if I don't pay over 1100 right now they will be out to tae me to jail when I confronted them on the phone they hubg up

I've received multiple calls from these guys...... cal them back, REPEATEDLY - they LOVE it.......muhahaha. Now off to make more calls. :evilgrin:

background check, so if I did talk to these people it would be to laugh!

This person called and was asking for someone I did not know and told them they and had the wrong number and was told not to talk to him like that and then was cussed out with several choice words and told them I was going to call the cops on him and hung up.

I was called todqy and threatened if I did not pay that I would do three years in jail. Whomever this is needs to be caught and apprehended.  

They can not touch SSI or Disability at all. The only ones who can touch that is the Federal government themselves and only for back tax's or child support.  This outfit is in clear violation of the FDCPA laws to begin with. You can not go to jail, this is a civil matter and not criminal.  Suggest you file complaits with the FTC, CFB and your states attorney general at least.

Was greatly disturbed by private call I answered. Claiming with state of TN. Turned out to be 855-697-3889. I am disabled, stroke, dementia and multiple others. claimed felony warrant to be served in an hour. Claimed they had stoped my disability check cause cannot have one in jail, told me pack my meds. Realized later using bad cops names that had been arrested. With my condition caused extreme physical reaction. Blurred vision, shocks in arms, headache, shakes. It's a bad world. Feel sorry for when these people stand before God.

I received a call from 855-697-3889. It's regarding payday loans. There's a class action lawsuit in place which has info of all that are involved. Since I'm due $ back from this suit I feel they are calling ppl who don't know they are getting money back and use scare tactics while verifying your information. I feel that they might be changing the addresses of many that are to receive money back.

These people called my place of employment and said it was a legal matter.  When I called them back they refused to give me information about their company, address and name of their business and hung up on me.  They are scammers trying to get money and that is all.  Do not fall for their scare tactics.

I totally agree, some bogus a&# gig proceeded to read me my Miranda Rights and I hung up. These people need to be stopped.

Got the same call saying they were from the state of Illinois, recieved a call back number and it was this number18556973889..... I went bottom up you jack legs you want anymore money then come get it boyo. Has my job running a background check on me to see if I am legal. Pissed off

Got a call from these people.  They were wanting me to pay restitution for my sister BEFORE anything like this went to trial.  That raised my suspicions.  When I called back, to get their information, they acted very rude.  I WILL BE reporting this number to the Alabama State Attorney General's office for trying to pass themselves off as law enforcement.

i just finished with my bankruptcy. i know i don't have anything due, but yet i get a phone call saying i have a pending legal matter. i know it's a robot calling because of the way it reads off it's phone number. (also it read the phone number so fast that i'm not sure if i heard it right)
if it's a pending legal matter then they can send a legal document. i don't really need the banter on people not paying bills because everyone has a situation. my company went under, 150 people were laid off and my bills literally just piled up.
it sucks that it happens, and it sucks even more that there are companies like this that are fake, so that if you do owe debt somewhere you are not sure. either send an actual letter documenting it or get lost.

And they keep calling!!!

It appears to be a real company that is operating by breaking FDCPA laws.  Hence these company's tend to have many lawsuits going alright, against them. :)  

And yes, you can when they cross the lines and break laws.. know your rights, follow the steps in what you need to know!
